The moment I tried these on, I did not want to take them off. The size is perfect 7 1/2 wide. I try to hike daily (3 1/2 miles) on a trail that is fairly level but has uneven terrain. The boots are supportive and the soles are thick enough to not have any discomfort. I enjoy wearing them for daily wear also, because of the comfortable fit. ... show more

I wore them for the first time today and they were comfortable. I do have wide feet, more in the toe area of my foot. So I usually order a half size up. These shoes have plenty of room. I should’ve just ordered my actual shoe size. 5/5 recommend!

I ordered the marionberry color and love it! Looks just like the product picture. I am typically a size 6.5/7, but ordered size 8 based on the size guide. Many have said they bend in the wrong place across the top of the toes; I do not have that issue. I have not been hiking in them yet, so can’t comment on functionality. ... show more

Hiked Shirley canyon trail to high camp without having to brake them in. I usually wear a size 10 in tennis shoes/sneakers/boots but opted for 11 since I knew I'd be wearing thick socks and have been prone to swelling after flights or in high elevation. I order up in anything with a heel or potentially narrow like running shoes or cowboy boots because I also have wide feet. I had no pain whatsoever in my feet and this was my first real hike. Shirley trail is about 5 miles to high camp and took about 3.5 hours with stops and mostly steep inclines/climbing. I am not someone who is active really by any means but don't work a desk job either and have sciatica. These shoes did not flare up my sciatica and were comfy the entire hike and then some. Didn't come across too much moisture during the hike but held their own walking across streams on some low rocks but never fully submerged or to cover top of foot so I couldn't tell you how well they'd do. 10 out of 10 for easy to moderate hikes /climbing. ... show more

I was very cautious about buying boots because of my ankle problems but these were perfect! I’ve worn them on many hikes at this point and I haven’t been disappointed. The water proof aspect was not a lie as I’ve literally been boot deep in water/mud with dry feet. Totally in love with these!

I wore these boots for a week in Alaska and wore them for 10+ hours a day. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I bought my regular size and they fit perfect with enough room for thick wool socks. I wore them on fishing charters and hiking. My feet never hurt. They stayed dry and warm the whole time. I am thinking about buying another pair because I love them so much. They far exceeded my expectations. I wear a size 9 1/2, have slightly wide feet, and the 9 1/2 regular fit perfectly. I purchased a first pair (tan and red) for a trip to northern California. I had tried them in a store and was in between sizes (I'm normally an 8 1/2), but my toe felt right at the tip and I'd figured I'd want a little wiggle room for thick socks so I ordered a 9 on Amazon. They were comfortable, durable, and didn't hurt my feet even after a 6-hour hike from the Redwoods to the beach. I liked them so much I decided to get a second pair in Tan and Teel, but in my true size 8 1/2 and they worked out great too. Hiked in a ghost town and it started raining and my feet stayed dried the whole time. I'd say if you're in between sizes and don't have wide feet, get your normal size. ... show more
