I love the Sun Trek feature which is great because this material is very light. I have one of the previous versions without thumb holes, and it was a little thicker, but this version is perfect for days when you want long sleeves, but don't want to over heat. Fit was true to size.

Great hiking shirt! Lightweight and blocks the direct sun pretty well. I've washed this several times with the rest of my hiking clothes and it has held up fine. I am usually a size Small and ordered a Small; I'm 5'5" ~140lbs for reference. I would order your normal size as this shirt is loose fitting and the sleeves are long enough to have functional thumb holes. Minus one star for how much this shirt retains smells! I've never had outdoor clothing hold odors like this shirt. I usually do overnight camping trips and wear my hiking clothes twice... this shirt was awful! It was so bad that I had to wash it in the sink in the rest room and I've never had to do that before even during the summer months. If you're a normal day hike kind of person, this shirt will be totally fine. If you're backpacking and aim to carry as little clothes as possible for a few days, pass on this shirt because it will absorb every smell.

I love the cut and style of this "shirt"...Absolutely hate the material. It feels like a cheap t-shirt. I'm keeping bc I like the color and the fit, I wish the material was different. It stains immediately, and doesnt wash well. After one wash it already looks like an old shirt. I'm not sure why it gets such great reviews.

This Columbia shirt is great. It is good quality and very comfortable. My only complaint is that it is very thin and rather short. I am a tall person so take note that it is not sized for taller people.
