I love how comfortable they are on both feet. I wore them around for the day to break in, and I was so comfortable I felt I bought the right shoes . Im a beginner hiker and the price is right, accordingly. Laces seem strong. Soles thick with great tread. But didn't feel too heavy on my feet. Which I appreciated. Really nice hiking boot. Comfortable, waterproof & sturdy. Wore them on a hike 6 months after hip surgery and I felt very secure. They grip well and hit just above the ankle so there was no rubbing.

I bought these shoes in preparation for a trip to Glacier National Park. They ended up being super comfortable! For reference, I didn't hike anything longer than 6 miles in them. I could tell after a day of consistently walking around in them that the soles of my feet were a little achey. However, the winning factor for me was hiking 2 miles in the pouring rain (including walking in multiple puddles) and my feet stayed dry and warm!! Definitely glad I bought these! ... show more

All the other reviews recommending you size up by atleast a half size are indeed correct. I added a half size up and am glad I did. It will give me the right amount of wiggle room for doubling socks or thicker ones. The ankle support feels pretty nice. Well made shoes and such a cute color combo!
