I was pretty excited to get these boots, I already have a pair of Columbia boots and they are by far my favorite! I have tried the sorel boots and my feet are always cold in them. My feet are never cold in my Columbia boots. These are nice fitting and are tight but not too tight that I couldn’t get a nice long sock in them. You actually need a nice tight long sock otherwise they slip at the heel and will eventually take you sock off. This is a problem I experience with a lot of shoes so I’m just used to it, I don’t think it’s necessarily these boots that are the issue. ... show more

    • Comfortable Boot, rain tested

I have a wide foot and was bit unsure of what size to go with because of some of the reviews saying it fit snug. I ended up just going with my normal 9.5 shoe size, and I’m glad I did. I think if I had sized up to a 10 the boot would have been too big and I would have only been able to wear it with thick socks and an extra insole. I can easily wear a thin or thick sock with these boots and be okay. As far as it being stiff, I only felt that it was slightly stiff to get my foot in when I first slipped my foot through the boot when I unboxed them. But that was to be expected. Once I started walking I didn’t feel that they were stiff in the slightest again and I could easily slip them on and off. I happened to get these right before the storm that hit California pounded us with rain, and I can say these boots kept my feet 100% dry and warm. Now having worn them all week these boots feel like butter when I put them on. The sole is super flexible and has good grip which gives them an almost tennis shoe feel, so they are not clunky at all. I don’t feel like I’m dragging my feet like when I’m wearing uggs or bear paws. My advice would be to go with your normal boot size, and only size up maybe 1/2 a size if you feel they may be tight on you. Overall it’s a really good pair of boots, at a good price. ... show more

    • Not True to size

Overall the boot looks great, however it has a design flaw. The mouth of the boot is too narrow, so when your trying to fit your foot into the boot your heel gets caught. I even ordered it a half size larger then the size I wear. Please widen the mouth of the boot to make it easier to slip it on and off without struggle. Waterproof and warmth are positives, but comfort is not. These are extremely narrow and stiff. Been hoping they’d “break-in,” but that hasn’t happened yet. Got them for walking my dog and I cannot wait to take them off as soon as I get home.

A couple of years ago, maybe more, I purchased the lace up Ice Maiden snow boots which have been high quality performers. When I saw the Ice Maiden pull on boot with reviews of guaranteed waterproof and all day wearing comfort, I hoped the reviews were not too good to be true. Reviews are true! I am on my feet all day and seldom sit. My dog walks me miles every day. We live in the mountains and Fall temps are chilly, often at freezing, with wind chill that can bite through winter clothing. During Fall months until snow, these boots are on my feet every day, all day. In both Ice Maiden Lace up Snow Boots and Ice Maiden II Pull on Boots, I purchased my usual size 8 and both styles were ready to go comfortable right out of the box. Water proofing and insulating features have never failed and believe me, my dog insists that we are out no matter the weather. The 2 year old, maybe older snow boots still look new and they have been well used. I know these Ice Maiden II pull on boots will also look good for many years. Columbia makes quality outdoor products that look good, play hard and hold up to abuse. I bought black boots and am now thinking about purchasing a second pair of the pull on boots in a tan color, $20 cheaper than the black. A girl can never have too many winter boots. Look great with leggings, boot cut or bell bottom jeans, or skinny jeans tucked in. All my different thicknesses of socks work great. These are 10 star boots!! ... show more

Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2025 by I am very disappointed. This tree is 6and 1/2 feet at most including the stand. I was looking forward to a 71/2foot tree. A little crooked and the stand does not lock. I am hoping it does not get knocked over since it is not very stable and too late to return and reorder. I am totally disappointed. There are also white needles everywhere. It probably won’t last another year.

Love the quality, the look, the warmth, the fit. I love how my foot slides into these boots without needing to pull on. The footbed is so comfortable its like an old friend. Walking is a pleasure, no binding, or discomfort. I have been mucking my horse's muddy paddock every day, and afterwards when I hose them off they come clean without wetting the inside and still looked brand new. Wow, I had been looking for these boots for about a year since my old LLBean boots started to break down at the tread.
