While these aren't as padded and comfortable as my previous pair of Columbia boots they make up for it in other areas. These boots are much warmer, stylish and are more waterproof. They are still pretty comfortable, but not as padded as my other ones. The last time I wore them it was a warmer, snowy and slushy day. My feet stayed completely dry. I have feet that are a little wider than normal, but had no trouble with the width. I normally wear a size 9.5, but ordered a 10 so I'd have room for thicker socks. The 10 seemed a little big even with thicker socks so I then ordered a 9.5 to be sure I had the right size. The 9.5 fit with thicker socks, but felt too tight in the toe box for my liking. I would say these run pretty true to size, but if you like a little more room for winter/thicker socks maybe go a half size up. If I didn't have feet that are a little wide the 9.5 would have been fine. I hope this helps someone else so you don't have to order two different sizes like I did. I did also measure my foot before ordering, but when the sizes are so similar in length it wasn't super helpful. ... show more

I ordered these boots for my mother - who has bigger than average feet (size 11 typically). She can never find any good winter boots in her size. I ordered these boots for myself last year, and they are awesome. I still have mine, and they still look brand new!! So when my Mom mentioned she needed boots, I suggested these to her! I ordered a size 12, and she said they fit well and are comfortable to wear!! She's VERY picky about her footwear - So that's saying something!! Take our word for it - these boots are great!! Im an 8½ and I ordered a 9 - they are true to size! They keep your feet warm and dry in rain, snow, sleet, whatever mother nature has!! I was looking for a snow boot that had better traction than my older Lands ends boots, which didn’t cut it for walking my pup, which I slept and fell in the first little bit of snow we got this year and fractured my ankle.🙄 So far I only am able to wear one boot, but so far so good. Just hoping I don’t wear it down too much before I get to wear both of them next year lol. The only thing I wish was better was the heal, it’s kinda stiff, not that comfortable on the inside. I did buy a size up as I do in sneakers. With this particular boot, I can wear two pairs of socks comfortably. They are cute and warm also. ... show more

Ordered size 10, I usually wear 9.5-10 regular in women’s shoes and boots. Perfect fit with plenty of room (length and width) that I can wear 2 pairs of socks. Boots are 9” tall at the back with gradual increase to 11” at the sides, which is where tongue of boot reaches. Feet were protected, warm and I didn’t slip when walking in snow from 2-8” deep with ice, winds up to 18 mph, and temps ranging from -8 to upper 30s. Boots didn’t feel stiff, are well-made, and reasonably priced. Ordered 1/14/25 and received 1/21/25, delayed by 2 days due to weather. Only issue is that boots were to have “red onion” laces and they are olive green, not a big deal, just wanted a little bit more color. ... show more

Best boots I have ever had. They are actually waterproof, I've watched the snow melt right off the boot and it doesn't even look wet. My feet stay warm and dry. I've even worn these in the rain/slush when I was in a pinch, and even stepping in large puddles of water I never had any wetness inside of the boot. I've walked through snow taller than the books And the only indication that I even walked through the snow after a minute or two was the snow left on my pants. They are also super comfortable. I have had a lot of issues finding boots that are comfortable and don't pinch or constrict and don't flop on the ground as I walk because of poor fit, but these fit perfectly right out of the box. ... show more

I recently purchased the Columbia Women's Ice Maiden II boots in Black/Columbia Grey, and while they have some good features, I was a bit disappointed overall. Pros: - The style is great! The boots look exactly like the picture and are stylish enough to wear both for outdoor activities and casual outings. - The insulation seems good, and they feel warm enough for colder weather. - The traction on the soles is solid, and I’m sure they’ll perform well on snowy or slippery surfaces. Cons: Fit: These boots run big. I usually wear a size 7, but I ended up returning them as they felt way too roomy. I recommend sizing down if you're in between sizes or if you prefer a snugger fit. Stiffness: The boots are much stiffer than I anticipated. The leather and synthetic materials feel quite rigid, especially around the ankle area. It made walking a bit uncomfortable at first, and I’m sure they would break in over time. Comfort: The insole is okay, but not as plush as I expected. Overall, while the boots are durable and warm, the fit and stiffness are a letdown for me. I do think they’d work better for someone with wider feet or someone who doesn't mind a bit of stiffness during the break-in period. ... show more
