I bought these because I wanted sturdy waterproof boots for snow and rain. I bought a touch larger, thinking I might need thicker socks but these were toasty with just regular socks. I found the tongues rather stiff and unbendable (four star rating) - they're partially attached (low at the sides for water proofing) which makes them hard to form fit and keep flat. I ended up not tightening the laces much, except at the top. The tighter I made them the more crumpled the tongues became - so I let them out again to get them to lay flat on my instep. They were still snug; in no danger of coming off although I could pull them off but couldn't get them on again without unlacing. The rubber soles have a slight rocker feel to them which was a surprise to me, but not a deal breaker after I got used to them. I am a bit concerned that there is not much between your feet and the soles.. just thinish insoles. I'm considering adding another insert since I have a little room to spare. I've only been walking around in my house so I'm looking forward to testing them in the winter conditions I bought them for. Fingers crossed.

All the reviews looked great but they are only ok. The size 9 for me was way too small but the 9 1/2 are too big. Please explain that one… I tried two different ones of each size to be sure. They are super cute. I wish they zipped on the side to make it a bit easier for one and off especially when they are covered in snow. The insoles are not as comfy and warm as I had hoped. But they are waterproof and look cute with skinny jeans.

Was hoping for a sole like the Minx Shorty! Those are so comfortable once they’re broken in. The soles of these boots are hard with no give. I got the wide size though so there is enough room for an additional insole. Was able to lace them so I don’t have to tie and untie every time I go outside which is a bonus. The traction is decent in 13 degrees above zero but feels like the colder it gets the less traction I’ll have. Overall, for the price, I’ll keep them.

I've had a similar slip on pair before and they did the job. I needed a new pair after 5 year's. Lasted well. I decided on this lace up pair. These cost way less than the slip on pair but very similar to my previous pair. Extremely pleased about that. I haven't had the chance to wear them yet in snow and horrendous ice but I know they'll do the job. Most importantly they help on icy ground and they keep feet warm.

ok, we all know Columbia sells great products, but i really believe all of their boots and shoes really need to be sized up one size larger because they truly are not true to size. And that's my only complaint. It's a great boot still other than that.

I was worried because it seems noone caters properly to wide feet and the size is spot on! Love these boots, my feet run a 9.5-10 and I got the 9.5 WIDE and good fit. And I was so happy when the I felt the bottom and they are actually rubber so no slipping, SOmanycompanies use a plastic rubber that is slippery wet. Havent wore them out so dont know how comfortable they are for long periods, but comfortable trying on lol. Would recommend!
