As someone who lives in a cold/snowy climate (at the base of the mountains in Utah) and who participates in a lot of outdoor winter activities, I did a lot of research before buying a pair of winter/snow boots. I'm always thrilled when I get it right on the first try without having to send anything back. These boots are worth every penny. I have come to be a major fan of Columbia outerwear in general and these boots were no exception! From the moment I put them on I knew I would love them if they kept the warmth in and the wet out- which they do! These boots are extremely comfortable! I can wear them all day and don't want to take them off! They aren't a fashion accessory but aren't ugly either which is nice. I bought them to do a job, not look darling, but I actually really like the way they look as well. They look just fine under my jeans. They fit great and are "substantial" without being super clunky and are surprisingly light. Most importantly they keep your feet warm and keep any and all moisture OUT! You could trudge around in sleet, snow, puddles, mud for hours and stay toasty and dry, and I have chronically cold feet so I would know! The tread is really substantial as I mentioned and I feel totally comfortable hiking in these in winter or just hanging Christmas lights on a ladder outside. I can't praise these boots enough! If you're look for the cutest and least boot looking waterproof boots in the world, these are not for you, but if you want a real winter work horse boot that you can actually wear under boot cut jeans to work and not look completely silly, these are a winner! These boots came earlier than expected and fit perfectly. Very lightweight and super comfortable! Keep my feet very warm. I just love the warmth, comfort and ease of movement, not to mention how cute they are!

These shoes are very comfortable, although I realize I should’ve gotten a smaller size. They hold up well to water and walking long periods and keep your feet warm. My only complaint is they make my feet stink - even if I only wear them for a few minutes. Foot odor has never been an issue for me so very surprising! ... show more

I waited until I put these boots to the test on a 7 day trip to the Swiss Alps. It did exactly what I wanted. It was stylish, comfortable, warm and non slip! My feet never got wet. These have become my favorite wet/cold boots. Fit true to size with wide toe bed, glad I didn't order a size up. Waterproof and warm, can get too hot if above 50 or so degrees.

I have not worn them in the cold yet. I took the out of the box. They are very nice and look very warm. I tried them on and they fit really good. I wear a size 10 and I ordered a 10.5. Other boots I've ordered have been way too tight and too snug and I ended up just giving them away. These fit perfect. I have room to wear them with warm socks. I bought them to wear in the winter and I am sure these will be perfect for what I bought them for. They look really nice as well. If I wear them in the winter and I do not like them I will update my review. But, for now I am so glad to have them. They come with great reviews and the price was good. ... show more

These run a little small. I bought 6.5, my usual size, but would buy a 7 if I bought them again. They feel a bit stiff but seem warm. After a few times wearing them I’ll know better if they were worth it. I would recommend ordering up a half size though. UPDATE: I went out today in 28° F temperature to shovel snow. I have a fair amount of area to shovel so I was out for over an hour. These boots kept me warm, dry and perfectly comfortable! I highly recommend them! ... show more
