Waist: 32" Hips: 37.5" These are going to be great hiking this summer. I ordered an 8 and they fit great. Super light, perfect length, stretchy and will dry quick. The only concern for some is that these may be a little see-through, especially when they get wet. I'm not too concerned with it, but will update with results. UPDATE: So I ended up buying another two pair in navy and white. The white is VERY see through. So I would say avoid the white and tan the most if this is a concern for you. The picture I took of the white does not look that revealing, but I assure you in the sun and if/when you bend over they will show everything! I'm not going to rate any less than 4 stars because these are really great shorts. Just make sure to stick with the darker colors. ... show more

While the shorts are comfortable, the khaki color is also completely see-through. These could only be worn as a coverup with a swimsuit or with bike shorts underneath (which kind of negates the cooling properties of the shorts). Great fit, comfortable, lightweight. The snaps are quite string but annoying, not sure why they don't use a button. The black color is great. The Fossil color is completely see-thru so I had to return.
