They have held up great and haven’t lost their shape after lots of washings. My favorite part about these are the ties at the sides. I don’t care for the ties on this. I pull them out all the way and snip them off. I hate the look as well as them tickling on my leg! It doesn’t hurt the skirt at all to remove them. I have this in black and it washes and dries well for years. Color won’t fade. The skort could be looser underneath. It rides up a tad on me. This has pockets that I wish were deeper but will hold keys. The waistband is thick but soft. Good for hike or swim if you don’t mind adjusting the short here and there. Can pass for beachwear or to wear out. Probably too heavyweight for swimming but I’ve worn it in the water at a water park. Dries quickly except waistband. Length can be short or modest depending on where you wear it but it can tend to ride up. ... show more

This is my third pair of Columbia skorts and I love them. Casual to casual dress with a different top makes these versatile. I love the hot pink, the color pops. Super comfortable. I do not tie up the sides for the “scrunchy” look as I don’t think it’s cute/flattering and it looks better with relaxing the string tie. The pockets are super tiny, basically just for show or add to the style. Nothing can be placed in the pockets. Even a debit card will slip out. I am not a fan of wearing shorts and generally opt for skirts or tunic/leggings. However in planning a vacation that may include some hiking in a hot climate I searched Pinterest for an idea for a cute outfit. This skort came up! I decided to order 2 since this is also something I can slip on over a bathing suit to head to restaurants for lunch on beach days. The material is stretchy and quite substantial so I hope this will not be too hot. The undershorts are made from a much thinner material so at first they felt strange but actually the garment would be too bulky if they were less light and silky. The legs are not at all tight so hopefully they won't ride up. The shirring is a fun detail. I loosened it so the hem was even and there was still some shirring left. I ordered the grey which is very nice and Tusk which is tan but with sort of an earthy greenish cast to it. I am 5'4" and 113 pounds. I typically wear size 4 in pants and ordered a Small. The overall fit is perfect for me. I am conscious of not showing too much leg and the length is great a few inches above my knees. I love this skirt and wear it for work or weekends. It fits nice and looks good. The fabric is not flimsy and so it holds you in and is still comfortable to wear. The shorts underneath do ride up a bit but not a big issue. I got the black one and love it.

I really like these. They are very comfortable, come up to a flattering part on my stomach, they are a flattering length and can be adjusted a little bit with the pull strings on the edges. You cannot lean over like you’re wearing shorts though, you’ll show your business. The shorts underneath provide security while standing and sitting but not leaning over. Good quality, though the elastic inside waist band does get twisted and weird in the washer, so far I have been able to manually correct it. Definitely will buy again. ... show more
