Best shorts ever. I'm a "apple" shaped and the waist band is comfortable due to it's width and not constricting, but does help smooth. I have the 5 inch inseam and the leg openings are enough so my legs are not like sausages but not so much that the legs billow. They do dry relatively quickly (as opposed to 100% cotton or denim) and the pockets can hold a smart phone during low intensity movement. I think I'm a little too thick in the middle so it's my fault the way it fits my legs but overall I love the shorts. It doesn't fit tightly in the waist and fits as I expected it to. I have a skort and capris of the same material; both wear well in the hot and humid weather. These shorts are amazing! They don’t roll but have enough stretch to rally love on the trail. I wear a 22 or 22 in fitted pants and the 2x was perfect for me. I’m short and at 5 feet y’all have issues with shorts being too long but these are great! I’ve already bought one in every color they have. Well worth the $44.
