Description

A re-energized update of Columbia’s winter classic, these boots are the ones for cold and wet weather. They turn snowy slogs into cakewalks thanks to a combination of waterproof construction, 400g insulation, Omni-Heat thermal- reflective lining, and a grippy rubber outsole. These alpine boots feature an injection molded rubber shell and outsole. Waterproof and seam-sealed construction, robust lacing, all make for a comfortable fitting boot that will keep their feet dry, warm, and happy across any trail. The bungees on these were coming apart after a month. For the price I expected these to be more durable. Once the bungee rips it will be hard for my son to tighten properly

I wanted to love these boots as they are beautiful and excellent quality. They are very narrow though and impossible to get wider feet in - even with a bigger size. I will be exchanging for boots with velcro strapping.

My daughter, like her Mother, is picky with the fit of boots. She won't admit it, but I feel if they don't fit like gym shoes, she won't like them. In addition she has a wider foot. The feedback on these was solid and there was no mention of areas that were 'buggy.' We've had some snow recently and she's even worn them without being prompted. I can't speak to the durability yet, but they won't be subject to daily use for the winter in Western Washington. Just a mountain trips and the occasionally low land snow. ... show more

Super nice. I love that i don't have to tie them but they can adjust them to be tighter if needed. super warm and easy. I have 4 pairs, I keep buying my oldest new ones and hand down the others because they are built amazing and all still look brand new.
