I washed these before I used them. They are soft but not extremely soft (like beech sheets) They wrinkle even when taken right from the dryer. I don’t mind wrinkles. It is the cool factor that I wanted. They seem to help me sleep at night cooler than my other beech sheets. I ordered these for our king bed because they said “Cooling” on them. After I washed them and put them in, I immediately fell in love! The elastic band is so heavy duty, it holds them in place for so long! They don’t budge. We have a deep mattress, a foam pad, and a goose down topper, which makes for a lot to cover. The sheets easily went over them and that band tucked under the mattress. The top sheet does not get a worn out feeling after use. I liked them so much, I ordered a set for my son’s bed. I ordered the white full size set. I was a little disappointed that his were thinner than ours, but they fit his bed really nicely too. I hope they stand the test of time. I am a little leery because they are somewhat thin, but it makes for a very soft, very cool feel. He can enjoy them while they last. They are worth it. I highly recommend! ... show more

These sheets are great for the summer. They’re on the pricey side, but genuinely feel so much cooler than regular sheets. They get super wrinkled though so if you care about that then these aren’t for you, but if your main reason for purchasing is to help with the temperature at night they’re great. I was skeptical that sheets could be cooling, but these are! We went from sweating even with the A/C going all night to no sweating!
