I love this jacket. I was looking for something lightweight but warm, and this is that. I took it for a short walk along a creek, at 30 degrees Fahrenheit, and the only shirt I wore underneath was a paper-thin "base layer" shirt. This jacket was perfectly warm - perfect comfort with no hint of overheating or sweating. I was warm on my walk, not hot, just right. In even colder weather, I could easily wear a hoodie underneath, too. I also love this jacket because it has drawstrings at the waist to close it off against a breeze, which I did. It also has elastic and adjustable cuffs for the same purpose. I'd give it ten stars if there were ten to give - VERY happy with this jacket!

This coat is very warm and is high quality for the money. If you are looking for a very warm coat that doesn’t break the bank this is the one to get. Like other post have said it runs big. Order one size smaller than normal.

This jacket is great. The inner lining really helps retain heat! When I first put it on, I didn't fully zip it up and immediately noticed the heat emitting from my body. This jacket is super lightweight, and great on the trail. I used it this weekend at a local hike, and it was so warm I had to take it off for a bit to cool off!

I chose this Columbia jacket because of its design. In general, it has large baffles that give it a more classic and robust appearance. Inside, it has a heat-insulating synthetic material. It comes well padded in its pockets. I like that. But in general it is a versatile jacket that provides good insulation against cold weather (for colder climates I suppose you will have to wear more than one layer) The inconvenience that immediately caught my attention was the fact that the sizes are not correct ............. Well, I usually wear size XL in jackets (you can confirm it in the pic's of my review) and I ordered this jacket in size L and I realized that the fit is more relaxed because it is larger than expected, this is something that you will have to consider in your next purchase, order a size smaller than usual so that you will not be disappointed. Information that could help: I am 6 feet (180 cm) tall and weigh approximately 185 pounds (84 kilos). I recommend it if you like jackets with a classic look by the way I bought it for $89.99 bucks so it was a good buy.
