⭐ 4 out of 5 stars – Lightweight, Breathable, Great for Fishing but Runs a Bit Large I picked up this hoodie for summer fishing trips and hiking, mainly for sun protection. After wearing it several times in 90°F weather, here’s what I found: What I liked: ✅ Excellent sun protection – the UPF 50 fabric does its job. I fished all day without sunscreen on my arms and had no burn. ✅ Lightweight & breathable – the fabric feels thin but not cheap, and it wicks sweat well. ✅ Quick drying – after getting splashed on the boat, it dried within 20 minutes in the sun. ✅ Hood design – the hood has enough coverage to protect your neck and can fit under a hat brim. Things to know: ⚠️ Fit runs large – I’m 5’10”, 180 lbs, and usually wear a large. In this case, a medium would’ve been a better fit. If you’re between sizes, size down. ⚠️ Not for cold weather – this is a true lightweight sun hoodie, not meant for warmth. Bottom line: Great hoodie for fishing, boating, or any hot-weather activity where you want protection without overheating. Just check the sizing chart before you order, and expect it to feel more like performance gear than a casual sweatshirt.
