The material is sturdy yet flexible for hours of hiking. I would recommend replacing with insoles. Has good grip on wet rocks. it is reasonably priced

I'm a medium in pretty much everything including Timberland, but I had to get the wide version of these. Other than that, fairly comfortable and time will tell if it'll hold up or not. I wanted to try something other than leather timberland boots and these look good.

On the third hike with these boots, the front of the right boot reconfigured itself. The area where the ball of the foot sits, became high on the outsides, low in the middle, causing a great deal of pain. That reshape prevented the toes from lying flat, causing a severe blister on the big toe. Absolutely could no longer wear them. They look new, but cannot be worn.
