Keeps feet very dry in wet conditions. More of a fall early spring boot as feet get a little warm. Have held up very well in all conditions including hiking Acadia.

I wear a size 15 and have trouble finding shoes that fit right and don't rub on the outside of my foot but these ones fit well so I ordered a second pair

After 4 attempts with different models and other brands of hiking boots, finally I found these boots on Amazon, for my husband, to be used on a 5 days hiking trip to Utah. My husband says they are absolutely comfortable, lightweight, and they proofed to have a great traction and grip. I bought these last summer to replace my last columbia boots i loved. Startedb using them about 3 weeks ago. These boots are Very Comfortable, but not water proof. Not even water resistant imo. Im not talking about walking through puddles or streams and staying dry, im talking wet feet because of walking though dew wet grass.. Great boots if you don't mind wet feet. My habit is 1.5 mile dog walk in morning and 1.5 mile early evening dog walk. Fyi these boots are still damp in afternoon from morning walk. Again talking dew on grass, not fording streams or walking through puddles. I think im going to switch to something more water resistant on my morning dog walks, an old pair of sneakers. To sum up my feelings, save your money and buy sneakers not these waterproof boots. Imo your feet will be dryer. ... show more
