I have Columbia Winter boots, so I knew when I got these that these would not be water proof so I don’t use these for extreme hiking or extreme weather. I wear these as a light hiking/walking shoe and also as a shoe to casually wear. They look rugged and have to very beat insoles of any sneaker that I have had outside of the mid-Flow Disteict shoe.     • Boots are great....laces are crap
Size 11. Came with 67" laces. You're going to want to change them. I bought 55" and they are just a bit too short but I am able to tie with no issue. Probably should have bought 63"s....no big deal. The boots are great. Very comfortable, nice large toe box, true to size, nice and lite, and good traction. According to Columbia they are not waterproof so I put 2 coats of waterproofer on them, and they've stayed dry. ... show more

Excellent pair of hiking shoes/ boots. Light weight, breathable, but trouble drying. Added drainage holes on the inside near the arches would be an awesome addition to help with water drainage and drying after submersion. Love these shoes for their grip and light weight comfort! Awesome shoes. Comfortable and durable. Hiked about 12 miles a day for 4 straight days and these looked brand new after I cleaned them back up. True to size and extremely comfortable. Great traction for mountain climbing. Great value.

    • Decent winter shoes
A bit narrow and lacking on cushioning so they're a little stiff (compared to other Columbia shoes I've worn) but they are sturdy, warm, and look pretty nice. They provide decent grip on snow and work well in keeping melted snow out. I haven't tried them on ice or submerging them in water so I don't know how waterproof they really are. ... show more
