I used Prime Try Before You Buy (which is amazing by the way) and went with an extra size and wide because most reviews say these run small and narrow. I typically use an US 10 and therefore ordered an 11 WIDE. However, when I tried them on they felt pretty roomy on the toe area. Like, more space than necessary and I tried them with thick winter socks. Now, the width was perfect and I do not have wide feet. So, I returned them (thanks to Prime Try Before You Buy) and got an US 10 1/2 and WIDE. And they do fit my feet perfectly now. Consequently, I would highly recommend you to get only 1/2 a size bigger and the WIDE version. However, if you have wide feet; I highly recommend you to not waste any more time reading reviews for these boots and just look for other ones. These are warm, have an amazing grip and not having any leather should make them last for many years to come. Enjoy your winter! UPDATE 11/15 I didn't like the gray color around the sole, so I decided to paint it with a black sharpie and even thought it didn't give me a completely black cover to match the rest of the boot, it gave me a nicer 'bronze' tint that I think goes better with matching the black around the boot and it gives it a more concise pleasing look. Very comfortable and warm. Wore then really for the first time in this cold snap. Wore them all day with no discomfort. Kept my feet warm every time I went outside. I did replace them with bungee laces that basically makes them slip on and now they're very easy for my lazy butt to put on and take off. I normally wear a size 9.5W, I ordered a size 10W and they fit perfectly with thick winter socks. I highly recommend. ... show more

Just received these boots and glad I did some research. For me, they are true to size and feel really comfortable. I can’t speak on its waterproof properties since I haven’t played in water yet but the stitching looks great. Solid purchase for sure.

    • Good boots, but one problem

I have used Columbia outerware, boots, and shoes for many years. My 10 year old Bugaboots finally cracked so they aren't as good in wet conditions. My new Bugaboots fit well, are comfortable, are warm enough for most conditions, and are very water resistant. However, they have one problem. Instead of hooks in the top 2 positions, there are eyelets. I have high arches and must spread the top wide open in order to get the boots on. It takes twice as long to put the boots on as I usually have to unlace the cord from the upper eyelets. I am going to take the boots to a shoe repair shop and have hooks installed in the upper 2 positions. I still give the Bugaboots a 5 rating as they really are good boots. ... show more

I read the reviews and I ordered a size up and they were way too big, These boots fit me true to size so order your shoe size and not wide unless your foot is really wide, I live in the snow these boots are really good, Waterproof and warm, I don't typically write reviews but these boots are legit, comfortable for big hikes and perfect for your boot for snow shoeing ... show more

Like usual Columbia has out done itself. Great pair of boots figured I would have to wear them in slowly but fit like a glove and no blisters. Have noticed that the insoles are hard and provide no cushioning. But overall great pair of boots warm great traction.
