Seems very weather resistant. It does say its waterproof.. The comfort aspect is a nice feel on your foot when walking in them. The omni heat inside has great heat retention. Found my self chilling with one boot on just relaxing. After 10 minutes I really noticed how warm my foot was. I then took the boot off and you could literally feel the heat radiating when you put your hand close to the omni heat insulation. You need to get this boot! Definitely recommend it. Warmest boots I ha e ever owned. Highly recommend. They ate very comfortable and are true to your shoe size. Walked through 12 inches of water and feet were totally warm and dry.. great for anyone spending time in the outdoors in the winter.

I’ve taken these out for all day hikes twice now. The first hike was a break in period, but still comfortable. The second hike was through a lot of uneven terrain, mud, and deep puddles while upland bird hunting. These did awesome. Kept me warm, dry, and comfortable all day. These boots are amazing. They so comfortable even brand new I can’t wait to break them in. So warm and they do a great job of keeping the heat in. I saw lots of negative reviews because of the “gold flakes” on the tongue but that is used to attract and trap the heat in the boot. Not one bad thought about these. Oh gads, my husband has been stomping around every winter for many years with his Bogs that are so heavy... they are weatherproof all right, but these are 1,000% better for our situation! For all these years he's watched in envy while I danced around in my own lightweight Columbia snow boots, FINALLY he said this summer "Winter is coming, I dread it, why haven't you ever fixed me up with something like those snow boots that YOU have??" So I looked for Columbia boots like mine, and these are the ones I found, ordered them immediately for him. He tried them on when they arrived and already LOVES them! I can't say that he's looking forward to this coming winter, but he sure is thrilled with the fit of these boots. Did a little dance in them to test them out. Now while he dreads another freezing winter, at least he won't be stomping around like Frankenstein's Monster is his huge black Bogs that most of the time I'd have to yank off of his feet for him. They were so heavy that he often couldn't yank them off by himself unassisted after many hours outdoors. Columbia snow boots ROCK! I have a pair that I've worn every winter for the last eight years, I believe these Men's Bugaboots will last for at least eight years now that my stubborn husband has finally converted to wanting warm and comfortable snow boots of his own! ... show more

Great quality boots and very comfortable. I bought these for a trip to the mountain in Colorado with heavy snow and temps reaching zero. I was spending 8+hrs a day in these and experienced zero discomfort. No problem with moisture. I have lower Columbia boots for hiking and I've used them in terrain ranging from tropical volcanoes to forest in the PNW for 7 years now and they are still like new. Almost everything about this boot is perfect. Traction takes them down 2 stars. Its a shame they slip and slide on any wet or icy terrain. Considering the price I expected better.They are warm and comfortable. So far waterproof too. They feel well made Im sure they will last and I think with some studs installed in the treads It should fix the slipping. I love the boot but compaired to other boots I own traction on ice is lacking bigtime. ... show more
