  • Fantastic Shirt For Hot Days
Size: Medium Color: Fossil
Wow. What a shirt! We have a large yard that I mow and maintain myself... the downside is herds of deer, ticks they bring, mosquitoes, and biting flies. Even when it's moderately hot, I try to wear long pants and sleeves for sun and bug protection. Had. Een wearing Dickies style cotton work shirts... but they don't breathe, become sweat soaked, and are too heavy for heat and humidity. This Columbia shirt smashed expectations. It's really well made, tough, but ultra lightweight and breathable with tons of vents and pockets. Buying a second for when the other is in the wash. If you want sun and bug protection when it's hit and humid out, look no further. ***Warning: as other reviews mentioned, size DOWN. I'm 5'10 175lbs, a 16-1/2 or 16 dress shirt, and the large I originally ordered was like a tent on me. Medium fits great with a little room to spare. Get the shirt and get outdoors. You'll love it and look pretty good too. ... show more

  • Perfect Outdoor Shirt: Cool, Functional, and Sun-Protective!
Size: X-Large Color: 2024 Vivid Blue
I originally spotted this Columbia shirt on Survivor host Jeff Probst and decided to get one for my husband. He loved it so much that I ended up buying one for my dad and stepdad too! My husband wore it on his trip to Mongolia and ended up wearing it almost every day because it kept his body temperature regulated and was incredibly functional. If you’re looking for a shirt that’s perfect for hot weather, keeps you cool, and provides great sun protection, this is definitely the one to get. Highly recommend for anyone who loves a practical yet stylish outdoor shirt! ... show more

  • Awesome shirts.
Size: X-Large Color: Fossil
My father in law swears by these. He's done road construction for quite a long time and wears one every day of the the week. The large size fit him well. The material is perfect for working in the hot sun and is light and breathable. They stay soft and keep him cool and dont look wrinked after a normal wash and dry. ... show more

  • LOVE this shirt
Size: X-Small Color: Cool Grey
I LOVE this shirt to help keep my super fair skin from burning in the South Carolina sun! It is lightweight, well made and durable. The grey color matches all my clothes. I ordered this a size bigger than normal so it was a bit baggy and I love that it helps me stay cool in the sun.

  • Nice shirts, but they are big and boxy
I can fit into either an XL or Large depending on the brand of shirt. I ordered XL for the Bahama shirt and found that they are very boxy. I have wide shoulders and narrower stomach/sides. If they made an “athletic cut”, the XL might work. Otherwise, I would say err on the side of down a size.

  • Perfect shirt for Florida summers
Size: X-Large Color: Light Blue
I see these shirts everywhere in Florida and didn’t want to be just another middle-aged guy with this shirt. Guess what? After trying several different hot weather shirts, I was forced to admit this shirt is perfect for the hot, humid weather here. They are light, comfortable, and versatile. They are well made and come in at a reasonable price point for the quality. I also tried the Tamiami II, but I find I prefer the slightly stiffer fabric of the Bahama II. It is still feather light and cool, but feels better against my skin. In order the long sleeves as I often need to protect my arms from the sun. The easy-to-use safari straps in the sleeves work well to quickly convert them to short sleeves. They are full cut - you may need to order a size smaller, but I enjoy the loose fit. I tried competitor Kühl shirts, but they are all sized for long distance runners under 30. I am not *that* overweight, but this shirt is just perfect for my needs. Yeah, I am now just another guy with a Columbia PFG shirt, and I see why they are so popular. I surrender. ... show more

  • Reliably excellent
Size: Large Tall Color: Black
My husband swears by these shirts, wearing these Columbia" fishing" shirts every single day for years. At the office, out to dinner, to weddings and funerals (might want to avoid the bright colors for the latter), and for -- you guessed it -- fishing. He works in the field doing conservation work, as well as on our little hobby farm. These shirts are perfect for this lifestyle because: 1) Columbia offers them in his size. He is 6'8" and lean, so it's hard to find clothes that fit in the chest and also sleeve length. These are perfect in LT for him. 2) The style is perfect for casual, sporting, or professional casual. He wears them to work every day like a uniform. 3) As an avid outdoorsman, he fishes, hunts, kayaks, gardens, etc. These shirts are lightweight. vented, and quick to dry, don't snag easily, block UV rays to prevent sunburn thru his shirt, and are cut for full range of movement without coming untucked or squeezing the shoulders. 4) Light enough to wear under a sweater or fleece in winter but also light enough to wear on a 100 degree day without adding bulk and heat. Or put a warm layer underneath for those chilly spring and fall days. 5) The roll up sleeves are awesome for flexibility. 6) Very wrinkle resistant. (Happy wife!) 7) They wash brilliantly and are very stain resistant. I once got roofing tar out of one of these shirts with a little WD40, corn starch, and Dawn dish soap. No joke! 7) They come in enough colors to give his wardrobe variety and personality. 8) The pockets are handy for all kinds of things, beyond fishing. Cons: 1) Pricy! But worth it. Most of our Columbia OFF clothes wear for YEARS, then when they start fading and the stains get set, they become true work shirts for the really messy jobs like cleaning the garage or a deer, or reshingling the roof. 2) When they do wrinkle, they like to keep 'em. Ironing them is not my favorite task, but it's rare. Usually the corners of the pocket flaps or the collars start turning upward. As long as Columbia is making these in our sizes, we'll be buying them. The brand isn't pretentious enough to put ridiculous sized logos on their cloths, so the versatility is unparalleled. You won't regret these shirts if you live an active lifestyle! ... show more

  • Just what I wanted
Size: Small Color: White
No complains. Get it! I bought a size M I like the loose fit. Great for the beach, camping, fishing. When you dry it, take it out immediately out of the dryer and stretch it (minimal ironing required)
