I purchased this shirt in both the youth L and XL for myself (for reference I am about 5'6 and about 125 pounds). I currently own the women's version of this shirt in a size M but wanted to try the youth size because they are quite a bit cheaper. I believe the youth L fits closest to a womens M but the sleeves are slightly shorter. I was surprised to find the youth XL was much too big on me, the shirt itself was too long and the sleeves were too long. Overall, I think the shirt is great, its a light weight and comfortable material that provides UV protection. I prefer the womens sizing but the youth is comparable and the XL has long enough arms. I've uploaded a few photos to show the comparison between a womens M and the youth L and XL (the womens shirt is the purple one in the middle, the youth XL is the white, and the youth L is the blue). ... show more
