This has just about anything you would want from a quality cue. Adjustable weight, good medium leather tip, solid maple shaft. It's a reliable cue. The thing that helps these cues really stand out is the design. They have a wide verity of styles that really stand out in my opinion. It doesn't use any exotic materials but it sure looks like it. I've had plenty of compliments from others on mine. If you in the market for a maple shaft cue with some flair give Collapsar a try! This is my 1st low def. cue. Never used a carbon nore do i care for one.Ive played with all the cheap bar cues, house cues even new cheap cues. this collapsar is definetly on another level,like 10 levels better. The tip seems to me like a medium density tip- so its perfect for me.in fact ive purchased 3 of these cues, the redish one, black one and light wood coler one. I love this cue. I wish i could find the cue shaft replacement though. It doesnt seem the sell those individually. ... show more
