let me start with, I highly recommend this table/desk. TLDR; PRO: +metal frame, top box frame is welded +easy assembly +solid construction +beautiful color and wood top +only 12 screws needed and comes with spares +tubular steel used is strong +assembles in minutes even without any power tools Cons: -while the tubular steel is strong it is possible to damage them by over tightening the screws, suggest not using power tools during construction -no over torque protection, over tightening can crush the tubular frame but correct tightening is perfect -ordered 2 tables and one came appearing to have been a returned item with some damage but good enough for my use -the Styrofoam packing was super charged with static and got everywhere but this is not a negative for the product itself but the packing materials used. -package is a bit heavy if you have a lot of steps or having trouble carrying it I suggest opening the box and at least take out the wooden top as it is the majority of the unit's weight. It is a super easy to put together flat pack. To avoid taking apart and putting back together make note there are two different sets of legs that matching pairs go in opposite corners so the lower side brace rails mounting holes point at each other, learn from my mistakes :-) . It comes with extra screws but not extra legs, I would suggest using the provided allen wrenches as using your own power tool w/bit may crush the hollow metal frame. Closing thoughts, very strong simple beautiful table perfect for an office, hobby projects or you could even use it as a small 2 person dining table for a breakfast nook. ... show more

Value for price is excellent. I slipped an 88-key Yamaha P45b (electric piano) under this thing and it's perfect. Got all the DTMP stuff on the desk, and my music maker underneath. Width between the legs available for a digital piano (or stamp collection) is 58 inches. For more usual desk use, the thing is at perfect desktop height. and is solid, sturdy, etc. Will be a good desk. One drawback -- the structural member across the front MAY make mounting a keyboard drawer difficult, depending upon your hardware. And that's the only drawback. All tools (2x) included, as well as a spare of each different type of hardware. All the screws are bagged by type and labelled, so no issue figuring out what goes where. Ships flat, assembles easily. I was looking at desks which cost twice as much, but took a chance on this. Love it. Change my plans and bought two more. Now I get to re-mount the closet door "desktop" which previously had lain across two file cabinets, old school. Height underneath the front bar is right around 27" (I'm on carpet, and there are adjustable feet, so hard to say exactly), which is a LITTLE short if you want to put "full-height" file cabinets under it.     • This is Adequate... Maybe
I read a lot of the Reviews on quite a few "computer desks" here on Amazon and needed something simple to extend my existing desk that has a glass top and very stable welded legs. The dimensions on this seemed "perfect". Correct height to match my desk. Depth was only 1/2" shy of what I now have. And I liked the idea of the bottom braces that join the legs together, front-to-back (this table design would be horrible without them!). Here are some Good Points... 1) They pack it very well. The box arrived in a bit of a shambles (not the fault of the seller), but, surprisingly, nothing was scarred or missing. 2) The instructions are very easy to follow. Three different-sized bolts go into specific locations. No confusion there. 3) They actually give you one EXTRA bolt per size. Good thinking on their part! 4) The top is protected with four nicely-designed plastic corner protectors, which you discard while assembling. Here are some Not-so-Good Points... 1) The walls of the tubing are rather thin. So much so, that you must be careful while tightening the bolts on the legs because the tube walls start to deform almost immediately. I cannot compare this thickness to other tables advertised here, except the L-shaped White Glass-top Desk which is very sturdy, by comparison. 2) The table/desk is still a bit wobbly when finished. Anyone who thinks it is VERY "solid" and/or "stable" is fooling themselves. "Adequately stable" for most needs, is how I would describe it. It shakes a bit, but it does not sway. To be fair, perhaps there is really no way to prevent this without heavier tubes and/or corner braces (which I may add at the back and on the sides, later - I simply hate them on the front because they always become knee-knockers!). 3) Not necessarily the fault of the designers, but the adjustable feet sink into medium-pile carpet. You will get to 29-3/8" max on a hard floor - a bit more than they advertise, but you will hear the leg bolts clanking a bit at that extended height. TO BE FAIR, the vendor only advertises a height of 29.1" - so they are ACCURATE in that regard when sitting on medium-pile carpet. This is ONLY an issue if you are hoping to align to an adjacent surface and are hoping to squeak-out a bit of extra height - don't count on it on carpet. Above all, this is VERY LIGHTWEIGHT (unfortunately, due to the thin wall thickness of the tubes). I do not expect to be putting a lot of weight on this, myself. It really is not bad as an extended work surface for building models, organizing papers, using a small desktop computer or laptop. And it looks quite nice and clean. Only time will tell how well the surface holds up. It is 5/8" thick, by the way. ... show more
