I had to buy another one because I forgot my old one at an event. I have used the cooler bag. Just like my old one, it holds two cans with a little ice which is very nice. Have used the cup holder and haven’t had it rip. The quality of the chair seems to be the same as my old one, only thing I feel is different is the storage bag. It feels thinner and I think it would possibly rip a lot easier which wouldn’t be good, because you really have to shovel the cooler bag and feet of the chair back into the carry bag along with everything else. Oversized chair is nice. I don’t need that much space but I like that I can sit any way I want in the chair. I tend to put one leg over the arm. We shall see. So far so good. These chairs are great. A bit expensive I thought but well worth the price. It even has a small cold pocket to place something small in IT to keep it cool. This was a nice feature. The chairs are great for camping and probably other things. They fold up nicely and compact and have their own bag. I would purchase them again. The first one was damaged in transit but not the Seller's fault!!! It didn't even make it to our home as the mode of shipping (can't remember UPS or USPS) sent it back. The only thing I would say is Amazon or Seller do NOT automatically send out another one. You have to order it again. This was a bit concerning to me as I was afraid it would not arrive in time for our trip but I am happy to say it DID!! ... show more

I don't usually gush over a chair. I've bought several portable chairs over the years trying to find the perfect balance between portability (and weight) and comfort. I never even considered trying to include convenience in my request. Well, this chair has it all and with a reasonable (actually beyond reasonable) pricetag. Let's go through it.... PORTABILTY... while not featherweight, this is a pretty easy carry and I am not a spry young thing. Schlepping weight is something that is a big consideration for me. I'm an old photographer and I have enough crap to carry without worrying about a heavy chair. No, i would not like to carry this a mile while also carrying cameras and lenses, but for a shorter jaunt it's perfect. COMFORT.... OMG. So comfortable. Easy 3 second setup (folding up and getting it back into the bag takes a bit longer but is certainly doable in a couple of minutes) and then sit right down. It feels sturdy. The larger seating area and padding make it a pleasure to sit on for a long time. And it's rated to hold up to 300 pounds. Amazing. CONVENIENCE.... a side pocket for maps (does anyone actually use maps anymore? Personally I love them) or a book or tissues or or or anything else (flashlight?, Gloves? Dog treats?) You might want close at hand. There's the cup holder for whatever you may be drinking and finally, a mini insulated bag to store (and keep cool - I haven't tested how well it does at keeping things cool) whatever you might be drinking next. Amazing. BOTTOM LINE: if you're on the fence, hop off and buy this now. The price when I bought it was under 50 and so so so worth it. I have a cat who wants to roam an unsafe neighborhood 24/7. Our compromise is that I take her out in a harness and on a leash. As someone with chronic back pain who can’t stand for more than 15 minutes without severe discomfort, I need a comfortable and portable chair for the hours I’m outside every day supervising my kitty. This chair is all this and more. Much easier to get out of than those “bucket seat” camping chairs I got at the hardware store which fell apart before too long. I love the pouch others have referred to and the way it velcroes and zips. Put my folded sweater in there when I got too hot; took it out again when I got cold. I loved being able to do that. Another reviewer said this Coleman chair lasted six years before they had to replace it. That’s what I want to hear — I love this chair and do not find it too heavy to carry around at all.
