the Coleman Broadband Mesh Quad Camping Chair is a real champ when it comes to handling the rugged demands of my elders. These guys love their beers and never miss a meal (if you catch my drift), so I needed a chair that could withstand their, uh, robust physique. First off, this chair held up like a pro to their "not-so-petite" beer bellies. It didn't groan or creak under the pressure, which is quite a feat, let me tell you. I'm pretty sure it deserves a medal for that alone. Now, you might think comfort is a stretch for a fold-up chair, but surprise, surprise, these guys were as comfortable as one can be in this scorching heat. The cooling mesh back was like a little oasis in the desert – a respite from the sweltering sun. I swear they felt like kings in their beer-belly-approved thrones. And speaking of beers, the cup holder was a perfect fit for their beloved beer cans. I mean, what's a camping chair without a designated spot for your beverage of choice, right? It's the little things that matter, and this chair gets it right. Even with their semi-arthritic and beat-up hardworking hands, they had no trouble folding this bad boy. Mostly a great chair, comfy and sturdy! BUT I have yet to find a cup or bottle that will fit in the cup holder besides single use plastic water bottle..... none of my cups or reusable bottles fit. None of my bottles are large bottles. The cup holder is too small....

After testing this out, I do concur it feels a tad snug, yet comfortable enough for me to sit out a while (I'm 1X, on the tallest side of short <wry grin>). Well, everyone's different and YMMV. Anyway, my expectations of patio and camping chairs probably fall on the low side - plus all my chairs are camping or patio chairs because I prefer lightweight stuff, since I move and travel often, and keep setups in favorite locals, the van etc. Only a few - none of this type, though - have broken after just minimal use (it's the "for backpacking" types I've had the worst luck with, and while backpacking, way back in the day, I would just sit on the ground <Sheesh>). But I've learned to put things, not drinks, in mesh holders, to do the best to choose a level spot, and to avoid pushing myself up on folding chair arms to rise. Reason I purchased this chair was because it was lightweight. It met my goal of being lightweight and easy to carry. Took stars off because I have used the chair less than a dozen times and the bottom of the bag ripped.
