  • High Quality Product
I wanted a higher quality chair than the ten dollar chairs in a bag from the big box stores. I purchased the chair and liked it so much I bought a second one when I need one for a friend. This chair is made in a careful way with high quality materials. The fabric is double layer and it has a drain in the middle of the seat. The cup holder looks insulated with a plastic material and a drain in it. Every grommet is sewn with multiple stitching and high quality materials. You will be impressed by the chair. It is big and comfy as others have noted. I take this chair to a waterfront park several days a week in the afternoon. It is made out of steel and high quality material so it is heavier than the $10 chairs you get at a big box store. It weighs about ten pounds. It is not a problem to walk it a quarter of a mile or more but you would not want to take it on a hike. The seat hight is higher than the ten dollar folding chair and you can get your feet under yourself when you stand up. The arms are sturdy if you need to push up. I am 5'8'' and my feet touch the ground without a problem. It is a great chair. ... show more

  • Game Day and Fishing Favorite!
As someone who spends a lot of time at kids' outdoor sports games and enjoys the occasional fishing trip, I've found the Coleman Big-N-Tall Quad Chair to be an absolute must-have. This chair has significantly enhanced my comfort during long days on the sidelines or by the water. First and foremost, the size and strength of this chair are perfect for me. It's roomy and comfortable, easily supporting my weight and height without feeling flimsy. Sitting in this chair for hours during games or while waiting for a catch has been a breeze, thanks to its sturdy and spacious design. The cup holder and side pocket are standout features that add to its convenience. Keeping a drink handy during intense sports matches or having a place to stash my fishing gear within arm's reach has been incredibly useful. I no longer have to juggle multiple items or constantly get up to grab something from my bag. The water-resistant aspect of the chair is another big plus. Whether it’s morning dew on the grass at a sports field or splashes from the lake while fishing, the chair stays dry and comfortable. This is essential for me, as it means one less thing to worry about in the great outdoors. Portability is key for any outdoor chair, and the Coleman Big-N-Tall Quad Chair nails it. It folds up easily and fits into its carrying bag, making it simple to transport to sports fields, fishing spots, or even just to store in the car. In conclusion, the Coleman Big-N-Tall Quad Chair is a fantastic investment for anyone who, like me, spends a lot of time outdoors at sporting events or fishing. It combines comfort, durability, and practicality, making it an ideal outdoor chair that meets all my needs. ... show more

  • Big, sturdy, easy to fold, good support
July 2024 big & tall chair: did not have the clear cell phone pocket on the arm. If you are a tall heavy person you will like this chair. I was impressed by the quality materials and sturdiness of this chair. We got an Amazon basicsChair at the same time and it was interesting to compare the two. The frame on this chair has big tubes and substantial feet. It has good support for your butt and back compared to the typical ‘hammock-like’ support found in most folding camp chairs (including the Amazon basic chair). My husband is stout (maybe 250? Won’t get on a scale) and just under 6 feet tall. The chair was a little too tall for him to be comfortable - the armrests were set a bit too high and the seat edge pressed in the back of his knees. If you are a few inches over 6 feet it would probably be just right. ... show more

  • Great chair but description needs update
Had an older model of the chair and wanted another. Be warned that the chairs no longer have the plastic cellphone pouch with the zipper. Aside from that the chair is big, comfortable and sturdy. I am 5'10" 260 pounds to give you reference and I fit with plenty of space left.

  • Worth the money
I absolutely love these chairs. I don't feel like they'll fall over just sitting in them. They sit higher which makes them easier to get in and out of. They are large and sturdy and I can fold my legs up underneath me. The canvas is very thick and I don't think it would be easy to tear and will last a long time. I am so impressed I've bought more for our kids and their families. Update 7/4/2024, after 5 years of use: I'm still impressed. We have other camping/canvas chairs but, we always grab these (I bought more). These have been on the creeks, rivers, and lakes and in the creeks, rivers, and lakes. There's nothing like sitting in cool spring fed creeks and rivers when it's hot and humid imho. They've been at numerous bonfires, our grandkids soccer games, baseball games, and even basketball tournaments because there wasn't enough seating. They've been on very rocky, sandy, grassy, and hardwood surfaces. They've been left in the rain. The drain hole in the center of the seat works very well and you don't notice it when you sit in them. Two of the chairs stay in the trunk of our car, two of them stay in our truck, and two of them stay on our pontoon so we can bank or lake sit. We keep them in the storage bag when not in use and they've withstood everything, even the grandkids. There are no tears, rips at seams, rips of any kind actually, or holes. All the seams are still tight which still makes the seat and back tight. There is no stretching of the fabric. The metal frame has no rust! They're in the water a lot. When the chairs get dirty I use a dish brush, I like the long handle the best, and when I'm at the creek or river I use the brush to loosen the dirt and the chairs look good as new. The powder coat is still intact. All the metal is still strong. The weight limit is 600 pounds. We have a friend that is over 400 pounds and he fits comfortably in these chairs and he is able to sit down and stand up with ease. They are taller than 'regular' chairs which is so much easier to get in and out of for anyone. I'm 5'2" and I have had three back surgeries and these chairs are very easy to get in and out of for me. So if you're tall and/or have some weight or have had some sort of surgery that makes it hard to sit in 'regular' camping/canvas chairs I believe you will love these chairs. They are worth the money. ... show more
