Shoe Is beautiful, as I would expect from Cole Haan, and so delighted they make my size, 10.5 Narrow. Too many shoes that DO offer half-sizes stop at 10, next is 11. And many don't offer half sizes at all - I can't buy then. What sense does that make? Also am double happy they're made in Narrow. Narrow is generally so difficult to find. A wider shoe just sloshes on a Narrow or SS foot. Even these 10.5 Narrow were a tiny bit too big, I'll have to put something under the Innersole. In actual fact, my foot is probably 10.5 SS (super-slim). I wear them with socks and for me, they were comfortable from the start. Soles are nice but maybe a bit slippery. I plan to rough them up with sandpaper in the places where I intend to stick on non-slip patches so as not to slip off pedals while driving. ... show more

The leather is soft and pliable as advertised. Will definitely wear thinner socks because without them, they fit just right. Got 8.5 and despite saying it's just right, there is a bit of room for the back end of the shoe. If you do wear a thick sock, the front part will be tight. I'm wearing them fresh out the box and walked to work with these and I think I've broken into them a bit. For a thin sole, you will feel uneven flooring as you walk. It's not really an issue for me, as long as it feels light and flexible. Can't say for sure, but I think I really got my money's worth. ... show more

Very comfortable. I am always either 7 1/2 or 8. I have a small bunion and slim (narrow) in the instep. I ordered both sizes and kept the 7 1/2. The shoe's length was prefect. The stitching around the top did not hurt the bunion and the fit around my insole looks wonderful, it does not gab.

i absolutely adore these loafers. they are so soft, so comfortable, and perfect right out of the box for all day wear. i wanted something that wasn’t patent leather, that had a structured look but wasn’t so structured as to be uncomfortable, and that served as a nice neutral comfortable shoe for a variety of outfits. these shoes completely hit the mark. they feel great on - i had zero breaking in time. they fit like a glove and i can wear them with so many different outfit looks. if you want a reasonably priced, understated, and near perfect shoe, please go for it. your feet will thank you!! ... show more
