Let me start by saying the only thing I’m not happy about is the plastic bottle. On the other hand, if it were glass, this would be too heavy to lift. It’s a great bargain, and I simply decant it into a 1 L size bottle. The flavor goes with everything. It’s not strong, and it’s not flavorless. Perfect for almost anything. I’m going to use it for. If you’re an olive oil aficionado, and you’re looking for something to dip bread into, you may prefer a fancier brand. For me, this works perfectly.

Love Colavita extra virgin olive oil with its pleasant “peppery” taste. Have been using it for many years as my everyday go to oil. Would definitely recommend. Unfortunately, this order was poorly packaged allowing oil to leak throughout the entire box, and one bottle was completely missing. Amazon customer service did credit me for the missing item, but what a mess. Therefore, cannot give 5 stars.

I've probably tried 30 different brands of EVOO, but I like Colavita Premium Selection Extra Virgin Olive Oil the best. The price is comparable, if not lower, than other similar brands. With this past year's poor production of olive oil in many olive oil producing countries, the quantity of many EVOO has decreased and many that claim to be EVOO are actually various blended oils from several different countries. Colavita EVOO is from Greece, Portugal, Spain or Italy and the country of origin is clearly labeled on the bottle. I highly recommend this product.
