It’s bigger than I expected and you definitely have to use the lid to see any noticeable difference in heat retention, but overall, it’s great for the price and I’ve been using it while I work from home to keep my coffee hot. With the lid on, my coffee stays hot for about 2 hours or so which is much better than a ceramic mug. Without the lid, because it has such a wide opening on top, it loses heat just about as fast as a ceramic mug. I also like that it’s dishwasher safe, although it’s really easy to hand wash too bc the opening is so wide. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase and I am sipping out of it as I write this review!

I have own 3 others insulated mugs including name starts with “Y”. They all suffer from lid that are very tightly fitted, requiring very high effort to open, definitely not for people with arthritis hands. BTW, regardless of price or brand name, they all more or less insulate equally well. Back to this mug, the lid is just enough to keep from spilling yet easy enough for a child to open !. Much better design than other pricier mugs. One minor con is paint has texture that holds coffee or tea stain. Suggestion: switch to smooth and easy to clean paint and offer plain stainless with no paint.

Pros: lightweight, easy to clean, durable Cons: this definitely doesn’t keep coffee hot for 3 hours at room temp. I didn’t notice any difference compared to a regular ceramic mug. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s thin and not double insulated, but I have many stainless travel mugs that work much better.

So I really like the color of the cup. I bought it because it looked similar to another mug I have, but that one keeps liquids hot or cold for very long periods of time. I thought this mug was similar material. It’s not and it doesn’t keep my tea hot for hours the way my other mug does. The color is beautiful though and if you drink quickly it’s not really an issue.

Cup leaked as soon as the first cup of coffee was in it. Vent hole too small. Coffee barely came out,because of the super small vent hole. A piece of garbage all around.

I love these retro stainless coffee cups! They match my retro kitchen... fits under my espresso machine spouts (most have a limited space for the cups like mine) and keep my coffee hot a good long time!

It’s effective and works well to keep a cup of coffee warm through the morning. I get busy and always end up with a cold cup and end up microwaving it. With this one I dont have to. Stays warm for a couple hours, cools faster if I leave the lid off though. Recommend, I bought 2.

Bought this to drink my coffee from. The glass mug I was using didn't keep the coffee hot for very long. This mug will keep it hot for at least 2 hours.
