My daughter bought this lift-top coffee table for her first "on-her-own" apartment. The main reason that she chose this one is because of the lift-top feature. The coffee table was easy to assemble as long as you pay close attention to the instructions. A couple of minor issues: on my table, the lift-top mechanism does not allow the lid to lay fully flat when closed. Also, when packing up this table for moving, I used parcel packing tape to secure the lift-top to the table. Big mistake: when I removed the parcel packing tape, I discovered that the veneer finish on this table is literally paper thin because a patch of it tore and peeled off with the tape (luckily for me, on the underside of the table where it will not be seen). This table is a good value for what I paid ($159). Still, you should shop carefully to ensure that you are getting a good deal.

First order didn't include all the installation hardware, but reached out to them (customer support was great) and they sent a replacement which included everything I needed. It looks nice, perfect height and lifts and drops smoothly.

I really like this table... correction: I really liked it after it was finally put together. The instructions were not clear and the flat-pack pieces were mislabeled or not labeled at all. There was a good chunk of frustration putting it together, but now that I've had it and used it regularly for awhile it's really nice. It looks good, has just the right amount of storage, and seems pretty sturdy. Few others negatives are that he corners are pretty sharp, and the hydraulics on the lifting part do not do a very good job from stopping it from slamming shut. Because of those things and the difficulty to build I am only going with 3 stars. I am also not going to recommend or suggest avoiding because those things may not be deal breakers to others (because sturdiness and style are actually good).

I bought this for a living room, and this thing works very well for our living room. It’s really easy and quick to set up, since they gave complete instructions. This product delivers great quality for the price which I was paid for and the table lifts nicely when you want to use as multipurpose. We can store nice storage use it and enjoy. I narrowed it down to the table and looked it it’s really great. I would defiantly recommend to use this.

I love the concept and convenience of this design. But the top doesn't quite line up leaving a gap between the two sides. Also, the assembly required 2 people for the last few steps.

This table was extremely difficult to build. Instructions were very unclear and confusing, my friend and I had to disassemble and re-assemble the table 4-5 times until we finally got it right. The screws would not fit in the designated holes, so we had to make a whole new hole just to get the screw to fit. Even with a friend helping, it took about 3 hours to build. The table itself is not the best quality as you can see by the images. The only reason I will not be returning this product is because it would be too difficult to disassemble. If I could, I would return it as it is right now. This table is not worth its price and I wish I could get my money and my time back. EDIT: the seller has refunded me. Although the item didn't live up to expectations, I appreciate the seller's willingness to make thing right.
