Since the product page does not provide the interior dimensions of this item, here they are: - Interior dimensions (with all partitioning pieces removed): 9¾" x 7¼" - Small sections (at the back of the box): 3⅛" x 3½" - Large section (at the front of the box): 9¾" x 3½" It is noteworthy that one or both of the small partitioning pieces in the back could be removed to achieve a few different interior space configurations. Also, the included jar is 2" tall by 2⅛" in diameter. A few specific thoughts: - Overall, the quality of this box is pretty good. I own more expensive bamboo items and this one is very much on par with their quality, so I have no complaints there! - The ability to remove and rearrange the partitions is convenient! I wouldn't mind if there were two additional partitioning pieces so that this box could be separated into six equal spaces. - I personally do not plan to use this to sort, store, etc. small objects (tea leaves, beads, etc.), which seems to be the intent of the sorting tray. This feels like an "extra piece" to me, but others may find it useful. - My only complaint with this box is the latching mechanism. I was initially unsure of how to open it (slide the piece that looks like a large, square button to the right and the latch will open) and then I encountered an issue with the latch not wanting to open (perhaps because it was mounted slightly crookedly). I ended up removing and reattaching it and now it works correctly, but it requires a fair amount of force to close (more than feels natural for something so small). The whole combination lock mechanism seems a little silly since it can be removed in about 30 seconds using a screwdriver anyway, but I guess it makes the box a very small amount more "child proof" than it otherwise would be.

I've not run across a stash box design I'm in love with, but this one comes close. I wish the lid opened fully. I feel like I'm going to break it off. The tray is a weird addition but I grew to like it. This is also the first bamboo box I've seen that isn't warped or splitting. Mine closes perfectly. As far as the lock, this is a joke but it will slow someone down.

I don't know what a "stash" box is but got this because it looks handy and well built. It is definitely nicely constructed and the slide tray fits well. The latch is a little flimsy and was slightly misaligned but it does work. The latch lowered my rating to 4 stars and it really is more like 4-1/2.

I ordered this box because of its large size and locking component. As soon as I received it, I noticed that something was off. The lock was broken! I found the missing piece (and 2 tiny screws) in the shipping box, so I fixed it... And then it fell off again. I'm not sure if the screws are too short or if the holes are too big, but it won't hold. I will have to get longer screws and hope that it actually works as intended. Ugh. Aside from this problem, I love it! The compartments are large enough for dispensary containers, and there is more than enough room for other accessories/products. The top tray is excellent, and I love that there's some "head space" when it's closed. If the lock worked as expected, this stash box would be absolutely perfect.

Pro: nice wood and good size stash box with dividers Con: the combo lock is useless. It's stiff, I can't turn the dials, and it screws on from the outside so anyone with a pen knife could unscrew it or just pry it off. I guess it's meant to keep out small children. CORRECTION: there is a little piece of plastic under the combo wheels, which makes sure the numbers stay at 000. Once removed you can move the wheels, or reset the combo per instructions in the ad. The ad shows TWO jars; it only comes with ONE.

All told this is quite nice. Pulling out of the package is has some nice heft to it - halfway expected it to feel light and chincy but it seems to be nice and sturdy. Biggest question coming in was the lock mechanism. Compared to other reviewers I found it to be actually better than expected. It’s obviously still a simple cheap locking mechanism simply screwed into the wood. Screws don’t appear to be going anywhere but obviously if someone wants to get into the box they can take a small set of screwdrivers to get inside. Better for keeping out children than say an adult on a mission. The lock itself seems solid. The spring behind the hinge is surprisingly powerful and really flings it open. Again feels and sounds sturdier than others have maybe commented here. Inside everything precisely fits together. The top shaped board is necessary to have the box fully sealed as it comes right to the edge of the box itself and is integrated into the wall. Nice touch are three magnets that help hold it into place. Again seem quite sturdy and up to the task at hand. My little brush bristles all came bent in one direction - which wouldn’t seem intentional based on seller image, but doesn’t really bother me personally. The jar is glass which I’d also been wondering about, so that’s nice. The little sealing ring on the lid gives a decent enough seal but not sure it’s so great it will keep any odors from leaking out or not. The insides can be minimally customized. At the end of the day this is a nice little (well not so little) stash box.
