BEST costumes ever. They are simple and so easy for mom to quickly tie on and they are durable. Printing still looks great on all three, one tie did come off after getting tangled in the wash after years of play but that is all that is wrong with them... besides losing arm cuffs... my kids didn't care much for those or the leg things. But they have loved them and had hours upon hours of pretend play with them. They have been worn for halloween many times and will be worn again this year. I've been able to pass them down to younger children (6 kids here) although they would still fit the 10 yr old who they were originally bought for. I expect them to last for several years more and I will buy them again when ours finally die. They are so great for dress up and I love that they take up limited space and are simple and fit little toddlers to 10 yr old kids (at least mine fit). My 3 year old absolutely loves these. He parades around the house with the cape and shin guards and mask, he is a superhero - a whole slew of them actually because 3 costumes but he mixes and matches the components. From the parent's perspective it's the absolute lowest quality thing imaginable, but from his perspective it's magic. With this kit, you, the adult, are getting what you pay for - really cheaply made stuff. But the child recipient is getting one of the coolest gifts ever. ... show more

    • "You are the bestest Grandma ever!" That is what my grandchild said after testing these out.
My six year old granddaughter loves to play dress-up and this looked like a good deal until I read the mixed reviews. Unfortunately, the reviews kept me from buying because of the comments on the quality of the material. I've looked at this product on and off since September 2015 for a birthday present.. At the last minute I was informed that my granddaughter had a "super hero" dress-up day event at school and she requested to be Bat-Man. Automatically, (with this product in mind) I pulled up Amazon knowing that the item would arrive in time (it actually came a day early) and if I wasn't satisfied I could return the product without any problem. I am very happy with these costumes. The quality is perfect for play dress up. Note, the material would probably tear if it were rough housed on a daily basis, but what material wouldn't? When the time comes to wash these cute items, I most likely will hand wash and hang to dry because they are thin but still thick enough for a child to play in without worry. The length of the cape(s) come mid-calf. The design of the costume coming over the head and tying in the back is perfect. It makes it easier for the child to get on and off no matter what they are wearing. The mask have straps with Velcro making it easy for the child to adjust themselves. The other great thing to note is that her 2 year old sister can also wear these. They will fit all sizes. So, now there will be no more fighting over " but I don't have a costume to wear" when there are friends over for play dates. I am really sad that I waited so long to order this. For less than $8.00 per costume a child has endless hours of entertainment. What s joy it is to watch their little imaginations at work/play. After she tried on all three and played in each for several minutes testing them out, My granddaughter said " you are the best Grandma ever!", and that makes it all worthwhile.     • An overpriced apron that is not worth the money.
I bought this for my 4 and 5 yr old boys who love superheros but was extremely disappointed when this arrived. They're in love with it so I'll keep it, but this product is extremely poorly made and designed and I do not recommend it. 1 - These are glorified aprons. There is a front piece made of thin, 1 layer fabric, a hole in the middle for the head, and a cape sewn to the front piece that is also made of thin, 1 layer fabric. The batman apron comes with matching eye masks. The Superman apron comes with little red boot covers. The robin apron comes with a matching eye mask and green arm cuffs. That's all you get. The image on the box makes it look like there might be a bit more, but nope - that's it. 2 - The images are laser printed on and after 1 day of use has already started to crack. 3 - The edge of the fabric has been serged but the stitching is already coming loose in a few places after 1 day 4 - They tie in the back. Huge pain for me because who knows any 5 year old that can tie something for himself behind his back. Which means for me, its every 5 minutes that I get "mommy can you tie this? Mommy can you take this off?" I'd prefer velcro or something so they could do it themselves. 5 - The superman costume is missing one of the tie strings. In short, these are pretty crappy. if you just barely know you're way around a sewing machine you could totally make these yourself for half the cost. And if you don't want to make them yourself, find someone who can sew because you'll need these things patched up after a few uses anyway. ... show more
