This shave butter is very moisturizing and helps provide a comfortable shave. The directions don't indicate applying water to your face before applying, but that seems to be the better than not doing so. Just apply a small amount of water to your face first and there is a wonderful long lasting moisturizing effect. The fragrance is pleasant and not too strong. For me, this has eliminated the need for an after shave.

I have used many shaving creams and never been satisfied with any of the shaving gels/ creams because they left my skin to dry or to oily. I had a friend recommend Code3 shave butter cream and I decided to try it out because I figured I had nothing to lose. I’m so happy for trying Code3 shave butter because this has been a game changer when it comes to shaving my head and facial hair. My skin is left soft, moist, and not irritated after I’m done shaving. This is the greatest shaving product that I have used. After trying the product, it really help with my skin. Being African American, I easily bump. But after trying this, it eliminated that problem. The body wash and shave butter is a must buy. I recommend it to all walks on earth.
