That said, I would have preferred the key sounds to be a bit softer. The volume and tone are a little sharp on the ears, both for kids playing and for adults listening nearby. We bought this for a nine month old and he immediately started playing with it. We did put a piece of clear packing tape over the speaker. So he can still hear the music, but it is not disrupting to the entire room. This was a great buy.

Bought this product due to my son loving to play the piano. The only thing I wish it had was a volume control. It is quite loud with a 9 month old banging on it. It was good for the price but I can't say I would recommend it to anyone else
