Gave this to my 4 yr old who loves Coco. He knows every song by heart. It lights up as in the movie and when you strum it you can change the chords. Cons; there aren’t any strings just hard plastic. Only one of these moves. It comes with a small unfolding paper with words and chords to sing and play. There are three buttons on the neck and pushing these in different patterns form the cords for the song. But the 4 year old can’t get the combinations right yet. Definitely a toy for older children. Also there isn’t a strap so trying to hold the guitar, strum it and push the button for the right cord is difficult without a strap to hold the guitar in place. ... show more

My nephew is Obsessed with Coco. He absolutely loves that movie so I got him a Miguel outfit and this guitar. This guitar is way overpriced and you cannot even play it. If I had the time to buy a white ukulele I would have. But I was in a rush. I’d recommend buying a white ukulele because the kids would enjoy playing more ... show more

Great toy guitar. Of course it’s nothing close to a real guitar since there are no real strings. But the concept of the keys on he handle and the « cords » make you learn to use a guitar with both hands. Beautiful details exactly like coco movie. The entire guitar lights up, it’s very cool.     • Comes with no guitar strap
You would figure it being a toy guitar it would come with some sort of carry strap but it doesn’t.Especially for the price. My daughter can only play with it for a couple of minutes before complaining its too heavy.

This is a beautiful, OVERpriced toy that lights up and works OK for a Miguel costume HOWEVER, it does not play the music from the movie. I hoped by pushing a button it would play a song from the movie and that is not the case. My son loves it because it looks like Miguel’s but still needs me to put on the movie or the songs on a separate device. ... show more

Four year old grandson loves this guitar. Seems to be well made and provides nice options for him to play it. Probably a little over priced but you pay for the Disney and Mattel names.
