I bought this WHISKEY SMOKER KIT in late May of this year of 2023 and I will say the following about this product. I liked it more and more I used it. I compared this to all others I’ve seen and this has THE BEST VALUE. It comes with everything you need, minus the butane and whiskey, but that should be obvious to all. I tried a couple of the different wood chips (oak and I forget the other off the top of my head) and they were DELICIOUS. Here’s how I created my magic potion. ; ) I poured two shots of whiskey (or bourbon) and dropped the spherical ice cube (from the rubber mold enclosed in this kit) and put the wood chips in the small pot, placed the pot over the glass, torched it up with the enclosed blowtorch and the smoke flows down into the glass and saturates the whiskey and ice cube. I let it sit for 30-60 seconds, took off the lid and slowly enjoyed sipping two shots of something I can only categorize as DELICIOUS AND VERY SATISFYING! I am not a cheap person by ANY means, but I also tried a cheaper whiskey on one occasion and this kit made it taste delicious. I truly love it and it passed all of my tests. It will also last for a VERY LONG TIME, as all you need is a SMALL pinch (there are SIX CANS!) of wood chips. Lastly, does this kit help make ALL whiskies and bourbons taste better? In MY honest opinion, without any doubt, YES. Definitely. I also have it saved to my FAVORITES for when I might recommend to a friend or need a new kit or to give as a gift. I am not sure if my initial 5-star review showed up as I could not find it. 5 STARS. Matt B.

Great kit to start enjoying smoked drinks. Does not take long to get used to the torch and the wood chips to get the right amount of smoke on your drink. Easy and safe to use. It has everything you need to start and as a bonus a sphere ice mold.

I purchased an electric type smoker for my husband for Christmas. It was great, but the button stopped working after using it only 2 times and it was useless, no response from seller or offer of replacement. Then found this one which uses a butane torch and it is fantastic! Several choices of wood chips and very easy to use. Had to torch the chips a little longer than the instructions suggested, but once they caught fire they produced enough smoke to fill the glass. The chips produced a great smoky flavor.

I bought this set for my son-in-law for Christmas and he loved it! His doc advised him to take ONE shot of whiskey a night for his blood pressure instead of taking meds. It has been working wonderfully and he is following the doc's orders. I thought he might enjoy using this smoker kit to change up the flavors to keep it from getting boring. He is very happy with it!!
