And...this one is hands down the best chimney style smoker I've had. It's metal so I'm not burning the smoker itself into the drink. It has a cap to trap in the smoke. The basket is large and breathes well. It is easy to set up, and does not get finicky like some of the others. This is great.

This is a great cocktail smoker kit. Unfortunately, it doesn't create enough smoke to actually smoke a cocktail. There is a wide variety of wood chips to choose from, the smoker is sturdy brass and there is a screen so no ashes or wood chips end up in your cocktail. You will need some sort of lighter to get this to work and a plain gas station lighter won't do the trick. I used a kitchen torch and even that didn't get the woodchips burning enough to actually create enough smoke in the glass to smoke the cocktail. It's a fun party novelty. But not a serious cocktail smoking apparatus. I'm still glad I have it and I will continue to try to make smoked cocktails.

These drinks have become quite trendy (meaning expensive), and after trying one, I was hooked. I was really happy to find this kit to be able to smoke my own drinks at home, and the assortment of 6 different wood chips is a nice touch - it can let me try them all to see what I like before I invest in buying a larger quantity at the store. Overall, this is great for self use and could make a decent gift (although the branding is just one of those random sell-on-Amazon no-name brands which might be a gift obstacle for some people. A great find and a decent price.

With this cocktail smoking kit you are paying for quality and quantity. It also looks and feels well made. This JIIGAAT smoker kit has 6 different flavors of wood chips, and two chip baskets for rotation while making drinks. This saves on wasting flavor chips when serving multiple drinks. It doesn't come with a torch but it makes up for that in quality and functionally. A torch and butane can be purchased separately and recommended. Smoking cocktail can be fun and easy once you get into your groove. In my opinion this set is a great value and perfect gift as well.

The media could not be loaded. This is a very nice set. I mainly use this to add a smokey nuance to my old fashioned, but I found it works well with anything that a smoked undertone will compliment. I love mezcal, but we don't alway have it on hand, so it's a great way to add that note to tequilas as well. As I use the kit more, I find myself looking for more reasons to use it. It's very elegant, fully equipped with with lid, screen and cap, scoop, as well as a variety of woods to choose from. All you really need is a flame source (I recommend a refillable butane torch or kitchen torch), and your beverage of choice. Place the wood in the screen compartment, add fire until it's smoldering, cover with the cap and place on the top of your glass. The infusion process does not take much time at all, and I find that a cloud of smoke is not at all an indicator that your drink has been adequately infused. For me, about 30 seconds is enough to make it noticeable and pleasant, without the smoke overwhelming your drink. The set is definitely giftable and great for any aspiring mixologist or even anyone who entertains and wants to up their game a notch. Great choice for a smoke infuser.

I love smoked cocktails, but this set is for people who know what they're doing. It does not come with a bag or box, so you must find your receptacle to store everything. The items are of high quality, but more is desired than other kits when you compare them. You can find recipes and other smoked ideas from YouTube videos. The chips' quality delivers a great taste to my old-fashioned taste. I would not suggest this as a gift for beginners or as a gift idea, but this set will work best for someone who knows what they're doing. Also, to get the whole smoking experience I suggesting using brandy glasses or other similar glass to encase the smoke and use the chips for maximum "smoke" experience.
