I've been eyeing these boots for probably a year. You know debating & wondering should I spend $185 on boots!? I could tell it's a more than fair price for the COACH quality captured in the pictures & wasn't worried I'd get anything less delivered. That's actually never happened to me with premium brands on Amazon. I order Doc Martens-I get the authentic Doc Martens. So I finally took the plunge bc I took soooo long thinking about it lol. Definitely not an impulse buy. Here's the deal I read the reviews pros & cons. Having some of the same issues, but ****I'm going to keep these boots *****& find a way to make them work. Thats how great they are. I'll either buy calf stretchers or take them to a boot/shoe shop & have them stretched. They feel sooooooooooo good. Honestly. Someone said they are made for walking & THEY ARE! Footbed & heel are VERY COMFORTABLE. So is the leather ..it's no doubt high end quality . I knew I'd probably be on the far end of being able to fit them in the calf area bc they are pull up..but in terms of the look I prefer it over a zipper on the side or back. Its more classic imo. My calves aren't THE largest but not smallest either. I'm 5'6 200lbs+. Normally, the right side of my body is slightly taller/bigger so I figured that boot would be the tricky one but lo & behold this time it's the left. I got them to wear with dresses & shorts mostly as I won't be able to tuck anything in for now but I forget I can certainly wear jeans etc over them. My advice you don't know until you try & these are going to be in high rotation . If anything changes I'll edit my review. Edit Gettiing crazier & crazier about these boots! Called about having the top stretched. ******Looks like I bought them Right On Time Too BC THEY JUST WENT UP $100 !!!!!!******* ... show more
