Coach Town Bag Review I recently purchased the Coach Town Bag and ended up returning it, as it didn't meet my expectations—especially compared to a bag with same name I bought a few years ago from the Coach Outlet. This newer version felt significantly heavier and deeper, which made it bulky and uncomfortable to carry. The material also seemed much more rigid and structured than the previous one, losing some of the flexibility that made the other bag so easy to use. Another design flaw I noticed was the short handle. It doesn’t lay flat when wearing the bag with the longer strap, instead sticking out straight in front, which looks awkward and detracts from the overall style. The one thing I will say is that the color was absolutely beautiful—rich and elegant. But unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to make up for the bag’s impracticality for everyday use. I returned the bag and am currently still waiting for a refund. The status now says it’s delayed, which has been frustrating and disappointing, especially given Coach’s reputation. I hope this gets resolved soon, but overall, this purchase experience has been underwhelming. ... show more

I have always been more of a person to not have many designer or brand names, never spend too much on clothes, bags, purses, accessories, shoes. You get the point. I just always felt if you went for the cheaper stuff or on sale or stores like tjmaxx, kohls, Marshall’s, etc you could get more items if u went for sale or cheaper items. Then of course it wouldn’t all be noticable name brand or not the top selling everyone wants at the time but it’s worth it to have more! I just usually find it a waste & materialistic to only buy expensive designer name brand. But my fiancé got me a Coach cross body bag for Christmas. It’s smaller so it’s not an everyday purse. I was also got 2 MKs, same small cross body. But I was sick of my big everyday purse being hard to find stuff in… and I came across this purse & watched it for months. only every once in a while to barely ever would I splurged on something like this. But I finally splurged and got it for myself. And I’m super happy with the purchase. It comes exactly as pictured. It’s authentic and real. My only dislike is I thought it would say coach on both sides, but it only says it on one side, but that’s a minor detail that doesn’t even matter. There were absolutely no issues with the purse or with packaging and shipping. In fact, it came so incredibly well packaged you could tell that it had never been used before and they even had all the wrapping & the tag on it still from the store. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this purse from Coach. I saved for years to finally treat myself to a leather Coach purse. I received it as a Christmas gift and was beyond excited to use it. Unfortunately, that excitement didn’t last long. After only three weeks of normal use, the strap literally ripped off as I was picking up the bag. It completely broke without any warning. For a brand that markets itself as luxury, this is unacceptable. This purse was not cheap, and I expected quality craftsmanship and durability. Instead, it fell apart in less than a month. To make matters worse, I am just a few days past the return window, so I can’t exchange it or get my money back. After saving for so long, that makes this even more heartbreaking. There also seems to be no clear way to reach the seller for assistance or support. For a brand at this price point, customer service should be much more accessible. ... show more
