I know some folks gave a review of the leather not being thick but the product description was spot on, the CANVAS tote is made with 90% cotton and 10% calf hide(i think that was it) and that's what makes it so light to carry and soft. This is just what I needed for Spring! I had purchased a Coach Gramercy tote in olive suede for Fall/Winter and wanted something for Spring/Summer. I also wanted something light. I have a Le Pliage insert that actually also fit well into this bag so I did not need to buy another insert for this. If you have one of those inserts off Amazon, it will fit in this bag! The COACH Taxi Tote Bag in Signature Canvas arrived very well packed and presented nicely, which is always a great first impression. The bag is very lightweight and the signature canvas design looks classic and stylish. However, the material is noticeably very thin. While that makes the bag easy to carry, it does make me question how well it will hold up with regular daily use over time. It feels more delicate than expected for a tote that might otherwise be used every day. Overall, it’s a nice-looking bag and nicely packaged, but the thinness of the material leaves some uncertainty about its long-term durability. ... show more
