I have no complaints. I purchased the Empire 40 in Loved Leather from Amazon. It is gorgeous! I did check the creed information for authentication and it is a real Coach bag. The 40 is huge so I actually ordered an Empire 28 in Loved Leather for everyday. It did not disappoint. The leather is soft, somewhat slouchy and enough distress to get you on the journey to distressing your own bag naturally. This is not a handbag to handle with kid gloves. Carry and toss your bag. This bag is great and definitely not what I expected. I expected leather with protective finishing worn off as if attacked with sandpaper and that is not what I got. The bag seems to be brown then black over top of that. The edges and spots that would wear through use and bag charms has some of the black color rubbed off revealing the brown. Yes Coach….Yes!!! Finally a distressed “loved leather” collection. So beautifully made & each piece is unique since it is done by hand. I cannot believe it came w the special charms as well! (On the right) If you’re a Coach girl who is a little edgy, this bag is for you!

Returned and brought the empire loved leather 40 It's a beautiful bag, but too small for me. I have multiple empire 40s, which is great for holding all of my stuff. This bag requires that I downsize my belongings. The bag is great for people who love smaller bags that are tabby-sized, but it's not good for people who already enjoy carrying the empire 40 or 48. ... show more

Five stars for the purse, leather was beautiful, soft and I love the worn in look. Zero stars for Amazon, purse was an obvious return. All the Coach protective wrapping was gone, it was in the Coach dust bag, in a plastic bag and thrown in a box with no protective paper around it. The purse arrived damaged, with warped handles bent over to the left side of the purse and not coming back to a straight position due to the poor packaging. This is unacceptable for a $600+ handbag.
