I get to order and review a lot of pretty cool things here on Amazon and, when these showed up in my list of potential orders, I wasn’t sure what to make of them. Coach is obviously joining the long list of iconic leather goods makers that make athletic style shoes that aren’t intended for athletic use but rather casual wear. The admittedly cool style of these got me to order them and they don’t disappoint. I love the way these look. The sole comes up and over the heel with tread that is awesome. The color scheme is great and it all just works well together. The leather and suede looks and feels like a high end shoe should. The old school original C logo looks just right. So, from a style perspective, Coach really nailed it here for me. I do have a couple of issues though. Coach, as a brand, is no longer the iconic American brand they once were. You can find their stuff heavily discounted often and they have sourced most if not all of their manufacturing overseas. Repping Coach sneakers just doesn’t mean what it used to, at least to me. I am also seeing complaints online about sizing being too big. That is not an issue I found with these so perhaps they corrected course, but it is worth noting. I usually wear a 9.5 or a 10 in a sneaker and these fit fine as a 10. I have a little room but that is okay since these are non athletic athletic shoes. These are also a bit heavy but they are well made and comfortable on, so I don’t mind the weight. If I could, I would give these a 4.5 I think. However, at $200 a pair, they are getting a 4 star for me. Great looking, comfortable, and well made overall. You just have to love Coach if you are going to make the investment as you are definitely not going to miss the name here.

It should be mentioned that although these are described as “runner sneakers” they are no good for running. I consistently run 3+ miles a day and these are too heavy for running and lack proper support for running so I couldn’t imagine running in these. I’m pretty sure they are not intended or even designed to be literally used for “running” and that is instead just the title/name meant to convey that you’re “on the run” in a figurative sense. I’d say these are nice casual sneakers to wear to work in lieu of more formal shoes. The design looks really good, the colors are amazing. The appearance is just as expected, just like the pictures. I get a lot of compliments with these shoes. They also are quite comfortable compared to more formal wear. The soles on these shoes are firm, i.e., not very flexible, so there is some wear-in period. These shoes also add a decent amount of height, over an inch. The bottom rubber has great grip so you don’t have to worry about slipping. The sizing is also mostly fine. I’m normally size 11, and size 11 fit pretty on point, with just a small amount of spare room at the tip. So it may run slightly large, but I’d say less than (0.5) size difference. In summary, these are nice stylish shoes, fit well, are comfortable, and great design.

It's nice to have some good looking shoes in your collection, and since most of mine are boots. When we go out and I try to sneak out the door with boots, my wife gives me that look and now I can run back in and put these on. I'm not a big logo fan so the big C is not a plus to me, but it's amazing how many people knew that logo and ask me about the sneakers. If you love logos, these are for you. The design isn't scream level and I think looks nice without being nuts. Now, the real feature of these is comfort. They fit as expected but after a week of wearing them, I love them. From office time, time on the pavement, in stores and on the grass these feel wonderful. The back is high enough but doesn't dig in. The white part of the sole sticks out just a bit and I was wondering if that would be unstable on really flat floors - no issues. They feel well made, are breathable and just make your feet happy.
