When this bag arrived, it had an unusual amount of those little white pearl bags that absorb moisture inside of it. After removing them, I hung the bag on my coat closet door handle waiting for the weather to get colder so I could switch out my summer purse. Each time I walked down that hall, I smelled what I though was a musty basement! But I could not find the smell when I went downstairs?!! It was not until yesterday (10/24/24) that I used the bag for a wake I was attending. THAT SMELL FOLLOWED ME TO THE CAR, AND THE FUNERAL HOME! This purse smells so musty and gross that when I got home I sprayed the inside with "FABRIZE" and left it overnight to air out. That did not work, so I tried "POOF" (also a failure). I am thinking of trying Lysol next and if that does not work I may put the bag it in the dryer to kill the musty odor. Wherever this bag was stored- had a flood problem they tried to cover up with the use of an excessive amount of little moisture bags!!! EPIC FAIL!! ... show more

Purse is beautiful and exactly what I had hoped for. The smell is horrid. It smells moldy/musty. For as much as I paid for it I have a hard time getting myself to carry it around because the smell is SOOO STRONG. It stinks up my whole car etc. super disappointing
