The listing is one of the most thorough and detailed for a product of this type, and so there is not a lot I can add in the way of features, specifications, and dimensions, so I will move on to my impressions. This tiny little units pack an unbelievable punch. I always bench test things first, and when I fired them up, I thought I would be blinded; I had blue spots in my vision for an hour. I originally got these to put on the front of one of the zero turns to allow mowing in low light conditions, but once I saw the strobe effects, I decided to mount them facing rearward. It’s always scary because people fly and many are not paying enough attention. With these mounted on the back of the roll bar, people pay attention. No way they can ever say that they did not see you, even in full sunlight. These come with a full wiring harness, including everything you need to get them up and running. The harness is large enough for easy installation in a car or truck, so I will either need to shorten it or wrap up the excess, but including a harness at all is a major plus. I put in some lights in another vehicle and had to order a separate harness and it cost nearly half of the total cost of this amazing light kit. The lights look classy, they are IP68 rated, they include all of the necessary (and fully adjustable) mounting hardware, plus a good quality, generously sized wiring harness. To say I am pleased with this CO LIGHT 2 X 4 Inch LED White/Amber 6 Mode Strobe Light Kit is an understatement, and I highly recommend it.

I got a set of these CO LIGHT 2"x4" LED light pods because of their ability to change mode from white to amber and even strobe between them. If they are as bright as similar all white LED pods, then it's a win win combination! But I was mainly interested in their dual color strobe mode. For safety, alerting oncoming traffic. I think they make excellent proximity work lights around your truck. They can be dual purpose. The wiring harness is a nice one and should make installation go much easier. There are 3 wires, GND +12V and mode wire. You get a total of 6 modes. My only concern for this design of POD is whether they are weatherproof. I've tested other similar pods like these and their build quality was terrible and one can see water sealing was completely neglected. And these pod lights and mini light bars had rain water ingress destroying the guts and reflectors. So, I'm not a fan of this construction. Hence the 4 stars. Time will tell whether they hold up to mother nature.

I bought these when the headlights on my mower went out (2009 John Deere x720). These are AMAZING and way brighter than what came on the mower. I attached some pics at night to show the HUGE field of vision. They are bright in all directions!!! I do need to point them a little more "out" and away from each other to get better vision to the side. That is not a fault of these lights - I mounted them forward and close together. It had everything I need to wire, except for some zip ties to keep everything out of the way. They seem durable so far. I mounted them a little too low, so they are in the way of a lot of things - sticks, bushes, etc... but they have held up very well. The white mode is bright. I love the strobes for mowing at dusk when it's not completely dark, but I need traffic to see me when I'm mowing in the ditch.

The strobe on these lights is a bit crazy. There is no way somebody will miss seeing me when I have the strobes on. The lights seem pretty solid. They are bright.

I mounted these on the front of an ATV. They are very bright, and I like the amber function, but the bracket broke after ONE use. It was hand tightened, nothing was hit. This was a fault of the bracket itself. I reached out to the manufacturer twice who told me they would refer me to their “Amazon” department and never heard back either time after emailing them several times. These were expensive compared to other options. Guess I should have just gotten the cheap ones.

If you have any worries about these, just get them. They're super bright (think like LED headlights, probably better than the headlights on your car), and they have nice, sturdy housings and brackets. As long as you're not trying to do something weird with them you should be able to get the brackets to work for your application. I have a previous set that is virtually identical but does not have the amber light feature and mounted them inside the rear quarters of my truck to use as auxiliary backup lights, wired them into the stock backup lights, and they've been in there, under the truck, getting covered with mud/snow/rocks... for 3 years now and don't show any signs of damage or other problems. Mounted in a normal location they will probably outlast how long most people keep their truck.

Installation is fairly simply unless you want to use your own switch (I don't care about the multiple color option, can't even tell you if it works). I wanted these to look like they belong on my John Deere Gator, so I used a replacement switch, which required a bit of "testing" as these lights did not come with a wire diagram other than basic "plug and play" instructions. Other than my own desire to have a matching light switch, these things work great and as I said, they are very bright. Good quality and look just like the lights on my truck!
