Honestly, this is probably something I should've rated three stars, but I want to be open minded the reason why I took one star away is because the fact that it's like a weird spray bottle while it's kind of unique is not really practical. I'm not a fan of it, but I'm not necessarily against it either. If it had a better smell, then I would think it's kind of cool because you get so much with it. Not that it has a bad smell at all. It's just not as good as what I usually use and when you have a bottle like this that doesn't really fit in your medicine cabinet or… It's just kind of a gimmicky bottle and if it's gonna be gummy key, it needs to have a really really strong, nice overwhelmingly good scent and this one just it doesn't really match what I usually use so I was gonna take two stars away, but I decided to be open-minded other people may like the smell more than me and it is a pleasant smell by all means it's just not better than mine in my opinion So I only took one star away and that's basically because of the bottle and the fact that the scent does not last very long to me. I like candles that have a lot of throw and I like cologne that will create an ambience, but not necessarily an impact. This is definitely creates an ambience without making too much of an impact and I really do like that, but it's just not nearly enough of an ambience in my opinion. Maybe I'm being overly critical, which is why I didn't take more than one star away. I just didn't feel comfortable enough to justify giving them only three stars. I think I'm pretty accurate when I say four stars and that means if you're looking for a unique after shave, I'm gonna recommend it. I'm happy to have it, but I'm not sure I would purchase another bottle. At the moment, that's how I feel about it but if I change my mind, I promise I'll come back and update this review. And as far as the scent, it definitely has a manly scent. It's a smooth type of scent. I'm terrible at describing things like "undertones" or whatever it is people talk about with colognes and wines, and all that I'm terrible at it. But I can tell you that this has a pleasant smell. It just doesn't match what I usually use and I'm not trying to mention the other brand either. I'm just saying this is very pleasant.

I decided to switch up my post-shave routine and try something with a bit more history to it. This stuff hits you immediately with a massive wave of spice and bold wood. It is definitely not a subtle modern fragrance; it feels very much like a classic barbershop scent. The spray nozzle is a really convenient addition, allowing you to hold the bottle a few inches away and mist it over your face and neck. The scent is rich with notes of wood, musk, and citrus, which I actually really enjoy once it settles down a bit. It works well as an all-in-one solution that soothes the skin and heals razor nicks fast. This is a big NO for me. This scent is very strong. I could smell it before I even opened it. It is definitely an old style smell. Reminds me of those old glass bottles that was shaped like cars etc that held cologne, that has that very strong old smell to it, yup that's the smell. I sprayed some on my wrist and I could smell it all day long even after trying to wash it off. Its the scent that lasts for-e-v-e-r. I ended up with a migraine from how strong it is. The bottle is huge at 16 fl Oz. If you like old man smell then this is definitely for you but I think I will pass. I can't see any younger man wearing this. My whole family thinks it smells bad. The value is good for how much you get and that's about the only thing it has going for it.
