I’m young, 26. I like fragrances like a Paco Rabanne Invictus , 1 Million, Versace Eros, Gucci Guilty, YSL , Azzaro Chrome, you get the idea. I usually use the Original Clubman after shave (yellow color liquid). And i recently started using the Clubman Lustrat “Draggin Noir” (which smells like black ice car scent. I love it). WHEN I SAY I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I SMELLED THIS. I was like WOW! Usually after shaves are strong obviously when you smell them straight from the bottle, and after you put them on your face it settles. You do get that hint of apples but it smells masculine. It’s almost spicy but a hint of citrus but mainly smells fresh. Doesn’t at all smell like an old grandpa. Surprisingly by the name it doesn’t smell like liquor either. After it sits, it definitely has a fresh subtle, powdery, apple like scent. Also I feel like the powder or spice offsets the apple so you really get a nice subtle masculine fragrance. It’s really nice. It definitely has that exotic type of smell because it definitely threw me off at first of how different but good it smelled. This may be my new go to even tho i like a variety of smells. But now it’s got me curious to smell the other “Clubman Reserve” line. This smells immaculate, i’m truly blown away with the smell.

Smells nice. My wife liked it. I will definitely use up the first bottle and make a determination as to whether or not I will but it again after. I was surprised how much it smelled like its name up front. When you take your first whiff...it smells like something you just got from the liquor store...which doesn't sound particularly appealing, but it is pleasant. But upon applying it, that initial odor fades into a much more pleasant smell. It has some staying power as it has been several hours since I first applied it and I can still detect it. I give it a thumbs up and four stars up front. I may change my mind and bump it to five stars after some additional use. The next time I use it I will be applying it a bit more liberally, as I now trust that it won't turn into something hideous.

This is a great scent. It’s starts off very strong but mellows quickly. At first the apple smell is almost too much. But by the time you’ve made it to the car to leave for the day, it’s just a great smell. Lots of compliments. Will definitely buy again.

I really love this scent. First of all, don't worry, you won't smell like a boozer. This is a very classy, soft, sweet scent. It has that brandy/rum base but there's just a special top note that I can't figure out. It's sweet but not cloying. I also have Whiskey Woods which I also really like and this one smells less cologne-like to my nose. Lovely in summer yet totally suited for winter months too. For the price it's worth a try if you're not sure about it. For those of you who have tried RazoRock's Tuscan Oud this is along those lines.
