I really like these wire cubes but they are a bear to put together. One needs lots of patience to put them together. That or lots of time so you can walk away from time to time. I’m glad I stuck with it though because they will work perfectly in my closet.

This item when put together may look like it is not going to handle weight or last long. When putting together make sure the pieces not only go in the right slot but that you use enough force to squeeze/push intersecting panels into the brace piece. I would hear a click or could just feel them nudge into locking. There are zip ties that come with this product and I didn’t use…not sure a benefit it would add and the instructions don’t show them on the product. ... show more

I like that the unit looks airy, is spacious but compact. It's helping me to downsize and get rid of a lot books and stuff I no longer need. It is also very sturdy. I gave it 4 stars because the enclosed instructions were difficult to understand. I did reach out via Amazon Customer service and within a short time I received a much more detailed assembly sheet . My problem was with the actual putting together. A bit of strength is needed to make sure of proper fitting together and rather hard for old arthritic hands. I did use some lined gloves to handle the wire unit and that seemed to help. I do like the look of it. ... show more

The product is very good and sturdy but the measurements reported on this page are wrong. If mounted square (3x3 cubes), the whole structure measures 37 inches in width... not 35.

    • Laughable Hammer, My sides still hurt from laughing so hard!

I had difficulty putting it together and keeping it together, so my brother tired to help me. He struggled with it too. The plastic hammer that comes with the set was a joke, it was supposed to hammer the caps in place to keep the wire pieces in place, the wire even giggled, in fact the wire was shaking so hard it would pop out of place. It only took us seriously when we approached it with a real hammer. Then it stood perfectly still hoping we wouldn't miss the cap and hit the wires instead. ... show more
