I have had these socks for a year and a half and love them. Some of my most worn socks. They are thick & densely knit but still fit into shoes & boots and have great stretch. They are so soft and very warm. I wear them with sneakers, boots & slides/clogs and just around the house on cold floors. They are nicely cushioned and I cannot feel the toe seam at all. The crew hight, high ankle length hits about 2 inches above my ankle bone and are SO stretchy. I can maneuver & put on one handed because they just slide right on and also stay in place. I bought the colors “coffee assorted” with a darker chocolate brown, a medium beige, and a light beige/dark cream. I wear an 8.5 wide or 9 in women’s shoes with a thicker ankle & calf and these socks do not squeeze, leave indents, or feel tight while, again, staying where they should. I love them so far! To be fair I haven't worn them yet other than trying them on but I'm very happy with them. They seem to be a perfect height. They're very comfortable and seem warm. They felt nicely thick with good cushion. They fit well, I'm around an 8.5 women's shoe size. I can't speak to durability or shrinkage yet, but they felt good quality so I have high hopes. Unfortunately the instructions say not to wash or dry with heat and I prefer to wash socks with heat to "kill" all bacteria and stuff but not sure if they can withstand heat or not. I'm assuming not. These socks are so comfortable!! I've only washed them once, so far (bought them recently, and washed them before wearing them for the first time); so, I hope they stay this comfortable. But if they do, I'm going to continue buying from this company. I wish the socks were a little bit taller; they're really not quite boot socks. But I'm sensitive to tightness around the ankle, and these socks are not at all constricting. Plus, the soles feel smooth. I'm constantly aware of how great they feel! They are also thick enough to be warm, for these last days of winter; but don't feel overly warm, so I think I'll still enjoy wearing them in the spring. ... show more

I'm insanely picky about socks and I love these! They are very well made, high quality material and very comfortable. I needed some warm socks to wear with clogs and just around the house, tried a few others but they all gave me sensory issues. These socks are amazing. Fits snug without being tight. Provides excellent cushioning to the bottom of the feet. Great wiggle room in toe area with no excess material. Top has comfortable elasticity, is thick and does not choke the ankles. Barely visible seam does not irritate toes. Brought additional socks in another color and also the slouch ones. These are great ankle socks! Good quality, nice colors, very comfortable. But not in ANY WAY are these BOOT SOCKS. I'm only being mildly scolding because the words "BOOT SOCKS" are in the description, and what pulled up on my search. You can certainly wear these with sneakers, or low cut shoes, and maybe even lace up trail boots. But, as an experienced, longtime homesteader and country girl, these are TERRIBLE worn with tall chore boots, or any other tall boot. They slide down immediately, and pull off entirely when removing the boot. I even tried them with my slip on, rubber Chelsea style chore boots- same problem. These are great socks, and certainly a good value. But they are too loose for actual boot socks. ... show more

I would call myself super picky about my socks, and these are great! I already returned a couple of others because they didn't fit my standards, but these are keepers. They are nice and thick but also breathable, so your feet don't sweat too much. Good material, they seem like they will hold up very well. They are nice and cushiony and perfect for winter weather around the house. They would work good inside your boots too, as long as your boots have the room. They are on the thicker side though, so keep that in mind if you plan to wear them with boots a lot. You would need some extra space in there with these. ... show more
