Our brand new kitten peed on one of our new bins before we were able to use them for our intended purpose of storage. I was so annoyed thinking I was going to have to toss them. I figured I had nothing to lose by throwing them in the washer. I put them through a gentle cycle in the washer with regular detergent and warm water and air dried them- they came out smelling perfectly great and completely intact and none of the flamingos or pattern faded or bled. It is really cute. Great for reuse. I put some heavy products in it for a Christmas gift basket so I did have to put a piece of sturdy cardboard on bottom. Friend loved it and immediately found a use for it so I wasn’t just wasting a basket. Definitely worth the money
