I bought three for my granddaughters, ages 6,9,10 to use at the beach. They worked great for just floating around and riding the waves. Sturdy enough for an adult to use as well. Bought this for a beach vacation. Was a great float for kids to hold onto in pool and kick around. However, in a wavy ocean it was not stable nor durable. It provided no stability - even for a small six year old - and popped within 10 minutes. 2 stars for pool only
